Abstract: An elliptical prone exerciser is disclosed, which comprises a frame (1), a front drive mechanism (3), a rear drive mechanism (4) and a damping wheel (2) arranged on the frame (1). The front drive mechanism (3) and the rear drive mechanism (4) are respectively arranged at a front end and a rear end of the frame (1). An output end of the front drive mechanism (3) and an output end of the rear drive mechanism (4) are respectively connected with the damping wheel (2). The front drive mechanism (3) is provided with a pair of movable hand support members (30), and the rear drive mechanism (4) is provided with a pair of movable knee support members (40). The pair of movable hand support members (30) and the pair of movable knee support members (40) move in an elliptical path. The elliptical prone exerciser is characterized by natural and coordinated motion, low impact and high safety.
Abstract: A training apparatus particularly suited for ice skaters. The training apparatus includes a cover, typically formed as shorts sized to be worn over traditional hockey pants or a hockey girdle, and one or more connectors. The connectors are attached to the cover in fixed positions around the upper leg and buttocks of the user of the training apparatus, and slidably and releasably receive through looped parts at least one elongate, flexible, elastic resistive member to provide resistance against the motion of a user while engaging in physical activities, such as skating. The connectors are mounted on both the front and back of the cover and include upper connectors mounted on an upper tubular section of the cover and lower connectors mounted on the front of leg sections of the cover.
Abstract: This device (1) comprises two lengths of substantially inextensible material (2) and (3) that can act on the chest of the wearer. These will improve the endurance, exercise tolerance and lung function of the user. The two lengths of substantially inextensible material may be contained in a garment comprising one sleeve on the inside of the garment and the other on the outside of the garment.

Abstract: The present invention provides, in at least one embodiment, a power rack apparatus for lifting dumbbells. The apparatus can have a conventional cage design or a novel cage design with dual pull up bars. The apparatus also has novel dumbbell trays configured to attach to a novel horizontal support. The horizontal support is configured to attach to the cage in a plurality of vertical positions and the horizontal support contains a plurality of slots for horizontal width adjustment of the dumbbell trays. The slots on the horizontal support are configured to receive a plurality of inclined dumbbell trays. The apparatus can be a combo power rack configured to hold barbells and dumbbells or a simplified power rack apparatus configured to just hold dumbbells.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for exercising the upper portions of the human body. The apparatus is a “zigzag” configured rod that has rotatable grips on three parallel sections of thereof. The apparatus preferably can alternatively be configured or re-configured in a U-shape. A user, with or without the assistance of another person grasps two of the grips and rotates the device around its central section to perform a wide variety of exercises. A method is provided for using the apparatus to perform exercises beneficial for the user's arms and upper body.
Abstract: The embodiment which has been labeled “one piece exercise weight plate 90” and is shown in renderings attached labeled as FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 is a piece of exercise equipment that has the ability to be manipulated to perform exercise movements and motions that other equipment does not offer. This piece of exercise equipment is one whole piece and large enough in span to create an agreeable sense of control and balance with its intended user to perform exercises that complement the human bodies range of motion amongst its extremities. This embodiment is rigid in structure and circular in circumference. The embodiment will vary in weight to accommodate a user's desire for resistance and use. This piece is solid and will be able to be held and used by gripping, pressing, pulling or performing any other type of physical movement with relation to the characteristics/attributes described in the drawings accompanied in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.
Abstract: A strength training apparatus comprises a frame and press arm that is connected to a resistance arm at a pivot point so that the press arm is pivotable with respect to the resistance arm and so that the press arm and resistance arm are pivotable together with respect to the frame. A locking device is configured to retain the press arm in first and second fixed angular pivot positions with respect to the resistance arm. A resistance device is configured to resist pivoting movement of the press arm together with the resistance arm with respect to the frame. A biasing device is configured to bias the press arm with respect to the resistance arm so as to remove any slop in the locking device that otherwise would be caused by gravity, and so that an initial movement of the press arm is resisted by the resistance device.
Abstract: An exercise machine is provided for developing the chest muscles while maintaining correct biomechanical posture and joint movement for the user, thereby maximizing efficiency and safety. The exercise machine includes a track on which two platforms independently slide. The platforms are each interconnected to a weight stack unit or other vertical resistance unit that provide resistance to the inward movement of the platforms. Each platform may also be connected to a tension element or resistance band that is configured to provide gradual and progressively increased resistance as the platforms are moved inwardly towards the center or center stop of the track.

Abstract: An exercise device includes a pair of hollow tubular members. Each hollow tubular member includes an outer tube, and a pair of end plates that seal respective ends of the outer tube, such that an enclosed space is defined within the outer tube. Removable plugs allow flowable material to be admitted into the enclosed spaces. A bar connects to the pair of hollow tubular members and holds the hollow tubular members in a spaced-apart state. When the enclosed spaces are partially filled with flowable material, a “slosh effect” occurs that exercises certain muscles or muscle groups.

Abstract: Exercise equipment comprises a weight stack configured to oppose a given exercise motion through a cable and pulley system and an elongated connector connecting the cable to a weight stack. The elongated connector comprises a first threaded portion located proximate to the weight stack and a second portion located distal from the weight stack. The first threaded portion is engaged with the weight stack and has a diameter that is greater than a diameter of the second portion such that an operator can visually determine whether the connector is fully engaged with a threaded receptacle in the weight stack.
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for performing exercises to strengthen the transversus abdominis and related muscles. The systems and methods may involve one or more independent belts, allowing a full range of continuous motion. The systems and methods may further use a resistance-control mechanism that allows a user to adjust the force required to move the one or more belts, thereby controlling the rate of motion in the forward and/or backward directions. The systems and methods may further use a unidirectional resistance mechanism that allows the user to increase the resistance of the one or more belts in one direction, while allowing the one or more belts to move freely in the other direction.
Abstract: A thumb exercise device for simulating the feel and action of backing a hammer of a firearm includes a thumb section, a grip section, and a middle section. The middle section interconnects the thumb section with the grip section. The middle section biases the thumb section away from the grip section. Wherein, when the grip section is held in the user's fingers similar to a grip of the firearm, the thumb section is oriented to approximate a user's extended thumb similar to the hammer of the firearm. Wherein, the user may grip the grip section with their fingers and depress the thumb section with their thumb. Whereby, the thumb exercise device simulates the feel and action of backing the hammer of the firearm.

Abstract: A stepping training machine includes a case, a stepping device, an adjusting device, and a base. The stepping device connected to the case, and has two pedals for a user to step. The adjusting device has an extending member connected to the case. The extending member is provided with a holding member, and the holding member is adapted to engage an object. The base is connected to the adjusting device, and the object will press the base when it is engaged with the holding member. Therefore, the stepping training machine may be held still by the engagement of the holding member and the object to let the user step in a stable condition.
Abstract: A method for controlling a balance training device by changing the position of a supporting point. The balance training device includes a base and a platform. A supporting member is adapted between the base and the platform to abut against the platform. The point of the platform where the supporting member is abutted against is the supporting point. The platform or the supporting member is movable, the method includes actuating the platform or the supporting member to move, so that the platform is moved relative to the supporting member; changing the position of the supporting point; and allowing the platform to be in a tilted state based on the change of the position of the supporting point. Therefore, a user can use the method for balance training.
