  • Patent number: 7137534
Abstract: A liquid soap container comprising of a dispensing pump which incorporates a pressurised air freshener canister or a liquid air freshener container. When a dispensing pump is depressed it also activates the valve of a pressurised air freshener canister or a pump for a liquid air freshener container to refresh the air whilst at the same time dispensing the liquid or gel soap. After the action of depressing the pump has stopped the release of the air freshener also stops. Both systems work simultaneously. An air vent casing helps secure the air freshener canister or the liquid air freshener container, and also temporarily contains the released air freshener before it vaporises or evaporates in to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 7134456
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a pipe body having a rectangular cross section, including preparing a metal plate having edges parallel to each other and bending lines parallel to the edges, forming malleable portions extending perpendicular to the bending lines, forming the metal plate into an intermediate product by bending at the bending lines such that the intermediate product includes a center bottom wall, adjoining walls, and two upper walls, applying external forces to the adjoining walls so as to expand and curve the center bottom wall outward, thereby bringing the edges in the upper walls into intimate contact, and applying external force to the curved center bottom wall so as to flatten the center bottom wall and maintain the edges in close contacted condition with a spring back force in the center bottom wall, wherein the malleable portions are formed in the adjoining walls.

  • Patent number: 7134454
Abstract: A cap for blocking a pipe. The pipe has a rim at an end thereof. The rim defines a pipe aperture. The cap includes a body for blocking the pipe aperture, the body including a bore having a threaded bore portion. A latch is movably mounted on the body for movement between a latched position wherein the latch engages the rim, and an unlatched position wherein the latch disengages the rim. A plug is provided for threaded engagement with the threaded portion and converts a rotational movement of the plug relative to the bore into a translation movement of the plug relative to the bore between a plug first position and a plug second position. The plug is operatively coupled to the latch for moving the latch between the latched and the unlatched positions in response to the plug being moved between the first plug position and a second plug position.

  • Patent number: 7111645
Abstract: A plug for sealing high pressure tubes is made from a memory-shape alloy. The plug is formed having a diameter greater than the inner diameter of the tube and is shaped by cooling to its martensite finish temperature and bending its wings in opposing directions such that at a later time, it will fit within the tube. After insertion into the tube, the plug is heated to its austenite finish temperature, restoring its wings to almost their original shape, thereby exerting force onto the tube walls, sealing the tube from leakage.

  • Patent number: 7108016
Abstract: A lightweight, low permeation, piston-in-sleeve high pressure accumulator is provided. The accumulator includes a cylindrical composite pressure vessel with two integral rounded ends. A piston slidably disposed in a thin nonpermeable internal sleeve in the accumulator separates two chambers, one adapted for containing a working fluid and the other adapted for containing gas under pressure. Working fluid is provided in a volume between the nonpermeable internal sleeve and the composite pressure vessel wall. Further means are provided for withstanding harmful effects of radial flexing of the composite vessel wall under high pressures, and from stresses present in use in mobile applications such as with a hydraulic power system for a hydraulic hybrid motor vehicle. A method for pre-charging the device is also presented.

  • Patent number: 7093619
Abstract: To provide a thermal insulation piping with no radially projecting part from a periphery thereof, so as to facilitate insertion of the thermal insulation piping into a pipeline or equivalent. In a thermal insulation tube 10 having a vacuum layer between an inner tube 11 and an outer tube 12, an evacuation port 30 for vacuum evacuation is oriented parallel with a longitudinal direction of the thermal insulation piping at an end of the thermal insulation tube 10. This construction can produce the thermal insulation tube 10 with no radially projecting part from a periphery thereof, thus providing improved workability when the thermal insulation piping is contained in the pipeline or equivalent. Further, a flexible pipe(s) 40 is/are preferably connected to the evacuation port(s) 30. This can allow increased positional tolerances in the connection of the evacuation port(s) to a vacuum evacuation device.
