In assembly, the washer and the bellow are steadily fixed to the coupling groove of the cylinder. The washers have an effect of draining-proof and air-tightness.

The gas refiller is formed from an additional housing part connected to the accumulator housing to form a unit. The connection is at least one connecting opening in the accumulator housing connecting the interior of the additional housing part to the gas chamber. Additional gas accumulator volume is provided without otherwise conventional pipework to save money and installation space and avoid conventional leaks which occur in the area of the pipework.

    Abstract: The present invention is an improved method for installing a liner to repair a pipeline. The method involves placing a flexible lining hose that is coated with a thermosetting resin in the pipeline. A thermosetting resin is also applied to the interior walls of the pipeline. A calibration hose is introduced into the lining hose and pressurized fluid is injected therein. The fluid presses the lining hose against the interior surface of the pipeline and cures the first and second thermosetting resins. The curing of the resins bonds the lining hose to the pipeline to form a rigid monolithic composite structure having high mechanical strength.

One switching valve (28) is accommodated in a corresponding valve location (29), and can be moved in the direction of movement of the separating element (16) from an opening position into closing position and vice-versa. Expensive line network between the hydraulic accumulator and the valve control unit is avoided. Sealing or leakage problems, such as are common in a line network, never occur. The valve control unit (26) is accommodated in a valve block (24) which is independent from the housing (10).

Common methods of repair include removal of degraded or affected material section and replacement with a new section of equivalent material by joining the new material to an existing item at a location of adequate thickness using full or complete penetration welds. This type of repair may be referred to in the industry as a “flush patch repair”. An additional type of repair where a section of material degradation may be localized is a “weld build-up repair’ wherein weld metal is deposited onto the existing area of affected material to return the material to its original thickness.
