Abstract: A continuously or step variable passive noise filter for removing noise from a signal received from a DUT added by a test and measurement instrument channel. The noise filter may include, for example, a splitter splits a signal into at least a first split signal and a second split signal. A first path receives the first split signal and includes a variable attenuator and/or a variable delay line which may be set based on the channel response of the DUT which is connected. The variable attenuator and/or the variable delay line may be continuously or stepped variable, as will be discussed in more detail below. A second path is also included to receive the second split signal and a combiner combines a signal from the first path and a signal from the second path into a combined signal.

Abstract: In a first aspect, the invention is an apparatus for a mobile communication network, which includes a mobile telecommunications device, with a graphical user interface and a memory. The apparatus also includes a mobile radio device, communicatively coupled to the mobile telecommunications device, thereby creating a pair of communicatively coupled mobile devices. The mobile radio device includes a plurality of lights functioning as a secondary user interface and, in conjunction with the graphical user interface provides a unified user interface. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for power control in a wireless communication system are provided. When long-term evolution (LTE) and a new radio access technology (NR) are combined by means of dual connectivity (DC), etc., dynamic resource sharing can be used. Specifically, a user equipment (UE) determines whether or not uplink (UL) transmission is performed at a specific time point in a first carrier having a first processing time. When it is determined that UL transmission is not performed at the specific time point in the first carrier, the UE determines power for UL transmission at the specific time point in a second carrier having a second processing time shorter than the first processing time, on the basis of guaranteed power for the first carrier.
Abstract: Wireless stations may operate to configure direct communication with neighboring wireless stations (direct communication between wireless stations without an intermediate access point). Mechanisms for near-field device-to-device communications are disclosed. A wireless station may be configured to determine a minimum power level for a near-field device-to-device datapath. The wireless device may determine an average channel interference for a first discovery channel and compare the average channel interference to a first threshold. If the average channel interference is less than the first threshold, the wireless device may select a first transmission mode associated with a first power level and determine a maximum data rate for the first transmission mode.

Abstract: A technology for a dual-common port multi-bandpass filter is described. The dual-common port multi-bandpass filter can include two or more analog filters. In some cases, the UE may identify an indication of a temperature of the UE. The UE may then transmit the constraint indicator to a base station via physical layer signaling. According to another embodiment, the UE may determine an alternative transmission mode based on the amount of remaining energy for the UE or the temperature of the UE. The UE may then transmit an indicator of the alternative transmission mode to the base station via physical layer signaling.
