  • Patent number: 12191899
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a base station may indicate, to a user equipment (UE), when it changes a power amplifier (PA) non-linearity model. The base station may transmit a set of parameters for the PA model, and a set of parameters for a non-linear equalizer function for the UE to use during a digital post-processing procedure (DPoD). The base station may indicate, to the UE, a lookup table, a vector of lookup tales, a set of kernels (e.g., from which the UE may estimate the coefficients of the PA model), or a set of both the kernels and the coefficients for the PA model. Similarly, for the non-linear equalizer function, the base station may indicate an explicit indication of the function, or may indicate a lookup table, or a kernels series (e.g., with or without corresponding coefficients).

  • Patent number: 12107744
Abstract: A system for cycle-based per-flow packet drop counting. The system comprises a communication network which interconnects nodes including receiver/s, supervisor/s, and sender/s. The sender sends flow/s of packets, via link/s, to the receiver/s. Flow/s are divided into cycles whose lengths are known to sender, receiver and supervisor. The sender adds to each packet indications of: a cycle during which the packet was sent, and whether the packet belongs to a given flow for which packet drops are being counted. The sender reports to the supervisor a number of packets sent during the individual cycle. The receiver reports to the supervisor, by counting indications, for the individual flow, how many packets, sent during the individual cycle, were received. The supervisor computes a difference between the number of packets sent and received, and, for certain difference value/s, implements further action/s.

  • Patent number: 12058690
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, for a plurality of carriers in a cross-carrier scheduling scenario, whether a quantity of downlink control information (DCI) sizes for a set of DCIs that the UE monitors satisfies a threshold, wherein the threshold is a per scheduling cell per scheduled cell threshold or a per scheduled cell threshold. The UE may selectively perform a DCI size alignment procedure to adjust a DCI size configuration based at least in part on whether the quantity of DCI sizes satisfies the threshold. The UE may monitor for the set of DCIs based at least in part on the DCI size configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 12034570
Abstract: A system includes multiple (e.g., three) routing elements that receive packets from a gateway and route the packets to multiple core network nodes. In normal operation, the gateway is configured to transmit messages to the first two routing elements with equal priority, while the third routing element is associated with a lower priority and functions as a backup. When one of the first two routing elements experiences network issues or is unavailable, then the third routing element is activated by adjusting the corresponding priority. Implementing the third routing element as a standby or backup element provides both redundancy and flexibility in case either of the first two routing elements becomes unsuitable for transmissions. Furthermore, the third routing element can be quickly activated to ensure that network service is not significantly impacted while the network is being restored.
