Abstract: A plan authoring tool can receive user input describing parameters of benefits of a benefit plan. The plan authoring tool can convert the user input into a machine structured plan description (MSPD) that defines the benefit plan. The MSPD can be used by a plan documentation generator to generate one or more plan documents that explain the benefits and/or indicate how to manually adjudicate claims submitted in association with the benefit plan. The MSPD can also be used to automatically adjudicate claims. Plan analysis tools can be used to evaluate an MSPD to validate a new or edited benefit plan and/or provide user feedback on the benefit plan so that users, if desired, can revise the MSPD via the plan authoring tool.

Abstract: In systems and methods for accident scene reconstruction, accident data associated with a vehicle accident involving a driver may be collected. The accident data may include vehicle telematics and/or other data, and/or the driver may be associated with an insurance policy. The accident data may be analyzed and, based upon the analysis of the accident data, a sequence of events occurring before, during, and/or after the vehicle accident may be determined. Based upon the determined sequence of events, a virtual reconstruction of the vehicle accident and/or a scene of the vehicle accident may be generated. The virtual reconstruction may include images of vehicles and/or road, weather, traffic, or construction conditions at the time of the accident. Based upon the virtual reconstruction, fault of the driver, or lack thereof, for the accident may be determined. The determined fault may be used to handle an insurance claim associated with the vehicle accident.

Abstract: A wireless device is enabled to receive a financial account card that is inserted into a card slot of the wireless device. The wireless device reads card data from the financial account card when it is inserted into the slot and programs an RFID (radio frequency identification) tag or a memory included in the wireless device. The wireless device may then be used to provide payment by transmitting the card data via radio frequency to a nearby RFID reader using the RFID tag. The financial account card may also be ejected from the wireless device and swiped by a magnetic card reader.

Abstract: The ELECTRONIC WALLET CHECKOUT PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“EWCP”) transform customer purchase requests triggering electronic wallet applications via EWCP components into electronic purchase confirmation and receipts. In one implementation, the EWCP receives a merchant payment request, and determines a payment protocol handler associated with the merchant payment request. The EWCP instantiates a wallet application via the payment protocol handler. The EWCP obtains a payment method selection via the wallet application, wherein the selected payment method is one of a credit card, a debit card, a gift card selected from an electronic wallet, and sends a transaction execution request for a transaction associated with the merchant payment request. Also, the EWCP receives a purchase response to the transaction execution request, and outputs purchase response information derived from the received purchase response.

These systems and methods are useful in the electronic filing and processing of, for example, image data, and of textual data associated with the image data. When making a purchase locally or online, the user's portable communication device (PCD) accesses the FTP via an application or web site, the PCD synchronizes with the FTP, and the PCD and FTP each respectively generate the same SUFACN(s) based in part on time of generation and PIN. The SUFACN is presented to the seller's register component via scanning (e.g., when SUFACN is a barcode) or entering the SUFACN. The register component sends the SUFACN to the FTP, which interacts with the user's financial account(s) to facilitate payment.

The beacon may communicate the user's payment card data to a merchant device or server. The merchant device or server may compare user's payment card data to merchant's accepted payment sources. The merchant device or server may alert user's payment card via communication through the wireless beacon, the payment card is accepted at the merchant location. Additionally, security identification and/or advertisements may be communicated to the user's accepted payment card.

Compression of stimulus material may involve removal, modification, repetition, bit rate adjustment, resolution adjustment, etc. Transitions can be smoothed or lengthened to further improve processed stimulus material.

The interface displays a bid price axis and an ask price axis, as well as corresponding sizes, and an indication of the inside market. When the inside market changes in response to changing market conditions, the indication of the inside market changes locations before being restored to its original location by shifting the bid and ask prices in a direction parallel to the bid or ask price axis. The user may enter trade commands at different price levels using an input device. In order to help prevent such trade commands from being entered at erroneous price levels, the system locks a pointer associated with the input device to a price the user points to during the shifting process, unless the pointer is moved away from that price.

Abstract: An enhanced claims settlement apparatus may process insurance claims rapidly and accurately. The apparatus may first receive a notification of loss associated with an insured item (e.g., car, boat, truck, home, etc.). The apparatus may then apply various algorithms for using sensors to identify, analyze, and estimate the cost of damage associated with the insured item. The sensors that are a part of the enhanced claims settlement server may include cameras, tactile sensors, electromagnetic sensors, etc. that may communicate data to a processor associated with the server. Once the data has been generated and analyzed by the sensors, a claim settlement file may be transmitted to a claimant.
