Abstract: Disclosed is system and method for measuring the tension of a tennis net, and, alternatively or in addition, for determining if a service let occurs via the measuring of the net tension. The disclosed embodiments measure a force exerted on the center-strap or the singles stick by the net. In these embodiments, the measured force provides an accurate reflection of the tension of the net.

Abstract: A game apparatus includes at least two balls and two balance apparatuses for balancing the balls thereon. Each balance apparatus can be held by a separate player. A method of playing a ball balance game includes equipping at least two players each with a balance apparatus and a ball. Each ball is balanced on each balance apparatus. Players can then be positioned at desired locations relative to each other. A desired game can then be started with the balls and the balance apparatuses.

Abstract: A gaming table includes a playing surface and a rail surrounding the playing surface. The playing surface includes a plateau in the center which may release one or more balls. The balls may roll off the plateau toward one or more input apertures in an inside wall of the rail. Flippers near each goal may be pivoted or actuated to deflect balls from rolling into the respective goal. Balls which pass through one of the goals may be retained in a collection chamber and retrieved by a user through a retrieval aperture in an outside wall of the rail. The playing surface may include ridges to direct released balls toward each of the goals and obstacles to prevent balls from rolling directly into the goals.

Abstract: An illuminated rim for a roundnet set is provided. The illuminated rim of the present application is an illuminated circular frame attached to the top of an existing frame of a standard roundnet set. The underside of a connector unit of the illuminated rim snaps onto the existing frame of the standard roundnet set. An optional sensor may be used in connection with the game to detect pressure on the net from, for example, a ball hitting it. Once the sensor is triggered, the LED lights may be programmed to go off. In an embodiment, the device may be programmed so that the light may be used to determine if a valid or invalid shot was executed by a player.

Abstract: A spin n grin including a wheel assembly with a handle assembly and a clamp assembly. The wheel assembly includes a wheel wherein said wheel is attached to a fork wheel which clamps the wheel by a spanned bushing to allow wheel spin and rotates. Handle assembly includes a handle which is attached to the wheel by a tab which is interlocked with the fork wheel allowing rotation of the wheel from the handle. Clamp assembly includes a first clamp and a second clamp wherein the handle is placed through one of the clamps to allow slide and adjust clamp as required. Wheel is attached to any object by clamp allowing a user to practice any paddle sport by kicking the wheel.

The system further including a pair of support bases including a first support base and a second support base, each support base including a base bottom portion, a support portion extending upwards from the base bottom portion, the support portion engaging and pivotably securing a control arm thereto, and a base strap having a base strap first end secured to the support portion and a base strap second end secured to the net bottom portion. The system further including a first net support pole and a second net support pole, wherein the first net support pole and the second net support pole are resiliently bendable and coupled between the net and respective support bases, and a plurality primary support ropes.

Abstract: A light guide plate for presenting a stereoscopic image via parallax includes: a plurality of deflectors arranged in rows parallel to an incidence surface through which light from a light source enters the light guide plate, the light totally reflecting inside the light guide plate while being guided therethrough, the plurality of deflectors including a reflection surface for reflecting and causing an emission surface to emit said light; and the reflection surfaces in a row of the plurality of deflectors are all oriented in the same direction with the orientation of the reflection surfaces changing for each row in accordance with distance from the incidence surface.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.

Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a racket grip 3D-tape, which entails coating a substrate with polyurethane of at least two different densities. Heavier polyurethane sinks, but lighter polyurethane rises, thereby resulting in unevenness of the surface of the racket grip 3D-tape.

Abstract: Examples of golf equipment covers and methods to manufacture golf equipment covers are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head cover may include a body portion having an opening to receive a golf club head. The golf club head cover may include a magnetic portion that allows the golf club head cover to be magnetically attached to a metallic structure, such as a steel golf cart basket. The golf club head cover may include a magnet identifier located on or near the magnetic portion. The magnet identifier may notify an individual as to a location of the magnetic portion to aid the individual when the attaching the magnetic portion to the metallic structure. The golf club head cover may include a golf club head identifier that remains visible when the magnetic portion is magnetically attached to the metallic structure. Abstract: An apparatus comprising a practice device for practice of hitting a tennis ball includes a server configured for serving the tennis ball to a user, a net disposed to intercept a flight of the tennis ball after the tennis bell has been hit by the user using a racket and to direct the captured tennis ball back towards the server to be served again to the user, an image detector configured to observe the tennis ball as the tennis ball hurtles towards the net, and a processor. The processor determines, based at least in part on image frames received from the image detector, data indicative of the tennis ball's virtual landing spot. This virtual landing spot is an estimate of where the tennis ball would have landed on an opposing court had the tennis ball not been intercepted by the net.

The method may also include applying a substance to the shaped surface of the wood piece in which the substance may be effective to harden a surface of the wood piece. Applying the substance to the shaped surface of the wood piece may include immersing a portion of the wood piece into a pool of the substance.

Abstract: A tennis practice apparatus that includes a main support member that is for mounting from an upright wall; an outer support member that is hinged with the main support member and includes a closed position wherein the outer support member is engaged against the main support member, and an open position wherein the outer support member is hinged to an open position that is substantially orthogonal to the main support member; and a pliable fabric sheet that extends between a top end of the main support member and the outer support member.
