  • Patent number: 11385630
Abstract: A method of producing a workpiece which is successively loaded onto two or more machine tools and one or more machining operations are performed to produce one or more features of the workpiece on each machine tool. After the machining operations on both or all of the machine tools, the workpiece is passed to a common dimensional inspection station. At the common dimensional inspection station, dimensions of the features of the workpiece produced by the machining operations on the two or more machine tools are measured. Based on the results of measuring the dimensions of the features, two or more output signals are produced which respectively relate to the performance of the two or more machine tools which performed the machining operations. Each of the output signals is fed back to the machine tool which performed the respective operation, to adjust the production process of each corresponding machine tool.

  • Patent number: 11385660
Abstract: A hot water supply system includes a hot water supply device which can be connected to an external communication network via a communication repeater, and a server. The server obtains, in pairing processing of associating a mobile terminal device which can remotely control the hot water supply device with the hot water supply device, identification information of a communication repeater to which the mobile terminal device is connected, and stores the identification information along with pairing information. Besides, the server performs control to determine conditions of the remote control based on whether the identification information of the communication repeater stored in association with the hot water supply device being a remote operation destination matches identification information of the communication repeater received from the mobile terminal device in the communication, when the communication of the remote control is received from the mobile terminal device.

  • Patent number: 11374407
Abstract: A method for correct operation of the current-angle-based phase-selection method (PSM) is based on a proper dual current controller (DCC) for inverter interfaced sources during unbalanced fault conditions. The fault type is determined in the inverter using voltage-angle-based PSM. Accordingly, fault-type zones' bisectors of the current-angle-based are determined. Consequently, an initial negative-sequence current angle reference is determined to force the relative angle between the negative- and zero-sequence currents in the center of its correct fault-type zone. The initial positive-sequence current angle is determined according to reactive current requirements by grid codes. These initial angles are updated for accurate operation of the PSM and appropriate reactive current injection. Negative- and positive-sequence current references are determined in the stationary frame to comply with the reference angles and inverter's thermal limits. These references are regulated by a proportional-resonance controller.

  • Patent number: 11371735
Abstract: The disclosure an air conditioning system and a method of controlling the same. During the heating operation of the A2W indoor unit, the A2A valve that connects the outdoor unit to the A2A indoor unit is closed to prevent the inflow of the refrigerant into the A2A indoor unit, so it is possible to prevent performance degradation by improving performance loss due to refrigerant bypass to a stationary A2A indoor unit. In addition, in order to improve the performance due to deterioration of heating performance, the system itself can cope with a control algorithm without any additional hardware configuration, thereby minimizing the installation cost.

  • Patent number: 11340569
Abstract: A device that includes a pressure sensor that adds dynamic pressure sensing capability to a furnace. In some examples the device may include a relay and other circuitry to replace the single-setpoint pressure switch used to sense the operation of an inducer fan. The pressure sensor may measure the pressure from the inducer fan and send a signal to the other circuitry, such as a microcontroller. The other circuitry may determine when the pressure from the inducer fan reaches a predetermined threshold and allow the main gas valve of the furnace to open. The other circuitry may be configured to set the pressure sensor to a variety of predetermined pressure thresholds, and thereby replace multiple pressure switches. In some examples, the other circuitry may record pressure values received from the pressure sensor over time and provide performance data, as well as other signals or indicators.

  • Patent number: 11322976
Abstract: Operational events associated with a target physical device can be detected for mitigation by implementing some aspects described herein. For example, a system can apply a sliding window to received sensor measurements at successive time intervals to generate a set of data windows. The system can determine a set of eigenvectors associated with the set of data windows by performing principal component analysis on a set of data points in the set of data windows. The system can determine a set of angle changes between pairs of eigenvectors. The system can generate a measurement profile by executing an integral transform on the set of angle changes. One or more trained machine-learning models are configured to detect an operational event associated with the target physical device based on the measurement profile and generate an output indicating the operational event.
