Abstract: A smart hook system for a store display including a hook configured to hang smart items having a resistor and a capacitor for display in a store. The hook at least one resistive electrical contact configured to come into electrical circuit contact with the resistor of the smart items hanging on the hook, and at least one capacitive electrical contact configured to come into electrical contact with the capacitor of the smart items that are hanging on hook. The smart hook also includes a processor configured to measure the resistance and capacitance of the smart items that are hanging on hook, and determine a quantity of the smart items hanging on the hook and identity of the smart items hanging on the hook based on the measured resistance and capacitance.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention comprise systems, computer program products, and methods for a financial and social management system that provides improved tracking and management related to how, where, when, and with whom a user enters into activities. The financial and social management system captures activity information and images from various sources of information, including but not limited to social networking accounts, e-receipts, calendars, contact lists, location determination devices, and the like, and associates the activity information and images with the activities of one or more users. The financial and social management system captures past and future activities of the multiple users based on a location or time period, and assembles the activities into group packages. The group packages are supplemented with the images and the activity information related to the past and future activities captured from the various sources of information of the multiple users.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to manage service user discovery and service launch object placement on a device. A method comprising: obtaining information to assist in identifying a portion of a user interface of a wireless device, the wireless device communicatively coupled to a network system over a wireless access network; determining a differentiating attribute of the identified portion of the user interface; obtaining one or more service launch objects for placement in the identified portion of the user interface; and sending configuration information to the wireless device over the wireless access network to assist the wireless device in placing the one or more service launch objects in the identified portion of the user interface.

Abstract: A system and method for performing a financial transaction may include processing a purchase transaction for products for purchase by a customer to determine a transaction amount. A communication with a mobile device of the customer may include communicating a store identifier, POS identifier, and the transaction amount. In response to receiving an approval number for the purchase transaction from a financial institution of the customer, completing the purchase transaction for the purchase of the products by the customer.

The unit contains compartments for each product type in multiple controlled temperature zones with sensors and readers to track product status and content. A user interface device in communication with an application service provider provides the user with a secure access to the content of the unit and product information. The application service provider provides the user with web accessed optimal management of product inventory.

Abstract: A Mobile Image Payment System for mobile commerce, which enables a Consumer to use a mobile device to make payments for online, Electronic Media, Print Media and POS Transactions, involving the presentment of a short code. In an embodiment, the Consumer scans the short code that is displayed by a merchant, to initiate a transaction. The system completes the transaction by processing information between a Mobile Payment Client residing on the Consumer's mobile device, a Mobile Payment interface residing on a Transaction Server, and, in a further embodiment, a Mobile Payment Application residing on a merchant's device or POS terminal. The Consumer's mobile device communicates with a Payment Platform, which communicates with a Merchant Transaction Server in order to process and complete the mobile transaction. The short code of the merchant can be displayed on any product or advertising medium.

Abstract: A system and method for assisting ordering and payment processing of an order invoice associated with a product selected by a customer. The system comprises collecting product data about the product and generates the order invoice information for use by at least an accounting system of the merchant. The system receives symbology information in an aggregated barcode associated with the order invoice, the symbology information including at least a portion of the order invoice information encoded using a coding scheme of a barcode. The system provides an image of the aggregated barcode to the customer for use in generating a transaction request for settlement of the order invoice, and receives a transaction response indicating transaction approval or transaction denial of the order invoice.

Abstract: Systems and methods for imputing the location of a product in a shopping environment are provided to address the above discussed problems. One example system disclosed herein includes a sensor system configured to track paths for a plurality of shoppers in a shopping environment. The system may further include a data analyzer computing device configured to receive signal data from the sensor system and transaction data from a point of sale system in the shopping environment. The transaction data may indicate the products purchased by the shopper in the shopping environment. The signal data may be matched to corresponding transaction data for the same shopping path. The system may impute one or more product locations of products in the transaction data associated with multiple shopper paths. The imputed product locations may be represented in a probability map, or used to make corrections to a preexisting planogram.

Client-executable code is generated by the server for the client, which is passed to the client along with schedule-related information for populating the respective editors. The client executes the server-generated code to display the respective editor with pertinent information populated therein, and to manage and maintain any new or updated information in response to user interactions with the editor. Rows of tasks are represented by corresponding objects, where editor elements are object attributes which are directly accessible by the respective objects. Database queries are generated by the server based on constant strings containing placeholders which are replaced with information used by the query.
