    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for obtaining a mapping between a random access parameter and a resource are disclosed in embodiments of the present invention, where the method includes: obtaining a random access parameter list, and obtaining a serial number of a parameter in the random access parameter list; obtaining a resource list; and obtaining a mapping between the random access parameter and a common enhanced dedicated channel resource in the resource list according to the obtained serial number of the random access parameter and the total number of resources in the obtained resource list, so that a network side device determines, according to the random access parameter sent by a UE, whether a corresponding common enhanced dedicated channel resource is available. In this way, a mapping between a signature and a default common E-DCH resource can be defined, and a problem of relatively low random access efficiency is solved.

The method includes, for each candidate remote LFA next hop, performing a forward shortest path first (SPF) computation having the respective candidate remote LFA next hop as a root to compute a path segment between the respective candidate remote LFA next hop and the destination, wherein each of the candidate remote LFA next hops is the egress of a respective potential repair tunnel between the network device and candidate remote LFA next hop, and selecting the remote LFA next hop based at least in part on the computed path segments.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for dressing centering a bearing compartment in a gas turbine engine. A nut may be inserted through an outer case of a gas turbine engine. The nut may be coupled to a strut which centers a bearing compartment. The nut may be rotated to achieve a desired tension on the strut to center the bearing compartment. A retaining plate comprising a collar may be positioned over the nut. A swaging tool comprising a swaging ramp may be positioned over the nut. The swaging tool may be forced against the retaining plate using a draw-in bolt. The swaging ramp may contact the collar and form indentations in the collar to lock the nut in place.

    Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a camshaft for an internal combustion engine a metal tubular element is expanded within a mold with the aid of a fluid at high pressure fed into the tubular element and with a simultaneous axial compression of the tubular element. The cams of the camshaft are formed in subsequent steps, starting from intermediate cams and ending with end cams. In a first step of the method, the intermediate cams are formed in a first mold. In a subsequent step, the end cams are formed within auxiliary molds which surround, only throughout a predetermined length, end portions of the tubular element which project from the mold which surrounds the already formed intermediate cams. In this subsequent step, the tubular element is compressed axially by axially displacing two clamp members, which grip and surround completely, throughout a predetermined length, the end portions of the tubular element which project outwardly from the auxiliary molds.
