  • Patent number: 11537913
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for detecting anomalies in input data. The input data can include enrollment information for members of a health insurance product offered by an insurance carrier. A system is configured to process one or more parameters associated with the input data to detect whether an anomaly is indicated in the input data. At least one artificial intelligence algorithm is configured to compare a parameter in the one or more parameters to a range defined by a moving average. When an anomaly is detected, the processing can be paused and manual intervention can be facilitated. When no anomaly is detected, a database is updated based on the input data. In an embodiment, the input data is an ANSI 834 format file that includes a plurality of membership records, and the one or more parameters are derived from statistics related to the membership records.

  • Patent number: 11520797
Abstract: Leveraging time-based comments on communications recordings is described. A system determines a comment time for a communications recording associated with a database record. The system receives a comment for the communications recording and generates a comment thread which includes the comment. If a media player is displaying a player control that is associated with the communications recording, the system causes the comment time and the comment thread and/or a comment thread indicator to be displayed with the player control that is displayed by the media player. The system initiates generation of a feed item, which includes the comment and references the communications recording, thereby causing the output of the feed item via an information feed associated with the database record to any system user associated with the database record.

  • Patent number: 11507466
Abstract: Featured are a method and apparatus for managing various point-in-time copies of workloads or applications using a software system called workload manager. An aspect of the invention is to receive backup images of point-in-time backup images of workload from a backup client and realize corresponding virtual resource from backup image on the cloud platform that is part of the workload manager appliance. Workload manager maintains catalog of point-in-time copies of workloads. Each item in the catalog refers resource entries on the cloud platform. When user wishes to instantiate a point-in-time copy, workload manager instantiates all the resources identified in the catalog entry. User can also restore a particular point-in-time workload to production system or migrate a particular point-in-time workload to remote application.

  • Patent number: 11455316
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to the modification of data in a time-series data lake. For example, in various embodiments, the disclosed techniques include a cloud-based service that maintains a time-series data lake that includes, for an organization, a time-series representation of data from one or more of the organization's data sources. The cloud-based service may receive a request to modify data associated with a particular user of the organization. As a non-limiting example, this request may correspond to a “Right to Be Forgotten” request from the particular user. This request may include one or more search parameters and an indication of one or more modifications to be performed. Based on the request, the cloud-based service may parse the time-series data lake to identify a subset of data that matches the one or more search parameters and perform the requested modifications on the subset of data in the time-series data lake.

  • Patent number: 11436213
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for analyzing database queries performed on a database. The method receives log data associated with queries that were performed on the database, wherein the log data includes multiple sub-tables that each include a set of data entries. Based on the log data, the method assembles a set of queries that were performed on the database, where different queries in the set are assembled by combining different subsets of data entries from the sub-tables. The method performs a query interpretation operation on each query to quantify the impact of performing the assembled set of queries on the database.

Abstract: The present invention relates to optimized access of a database. Herein are techniques to accelerate execution of any combination of ad hoc query, heterogenous hardware, and fluctuating workload. In an embodiment, a computer receives a data access request for data tuples and compiles the data access request into relational operators. A particular implementation of a particular relational operator is dynamically selected from multiple interchangeable implementations. Each interchangeable implementation contains respective physical operators. A particular hardware operator for a particular physical operator is selected from multiple interchangeable hardware operators that include: a first hardware operator that executes on first processing hardware, and a second hardware operator that executes on second processing hardware that is functionally different from the first processing hardware.

  • Patent number: 11416457
Abstract: Bias correcting system for small number estimators. A computer system includes a distinct value estimator configured to estimate a number of distinct values in a data set. The computer system includes a bias table for the estimator. The bias table includes entries with values corresponding to biases caused by the distinct value estimator correlated to values corresponding to numbers estimated. The entries in the table are optimized by having a set of entries with an optimized number of biases in the entries. The biases in the entries are associated with predetermined confidence intervals. The system includes a bias corrector configured to correct the number of distinct values in the multiset data estimated by the distinct value estimator set using values from the bias table to produce a corrected value. The system includes a user interface coupled to the bias corrector configured to output the corrected value to a user.
