Abstract: The invention relates to a preform for producing a plastic container in a blow moulding method, comprising an elongated, preform body, which is formed so as to be closed at the one longitudinal end thereof and, at the other longitudinal end thereof, has a neck section having a pouring opening. The preform is produced from recycled PET and aliphatic furanoate, wherein the recycled PET has a maximum of 2.5 wt % of isophthalic acid and diethylene glycol, wherein the proportion of isophthalic acid is no higher than 2.0 wt %, and the proportion of diethylene glycol is no higher than 2.0 wt %, wherein all the percentages by weight are based on the total weight of the preform. Turbidity of the preform, measured in accordance with ASTM D I 003-00, is less than 5%, as a result of the admixture of the aliphatic furanoate.
Abstract: A plastic bottle and straw assembly wherein the plastic bottle has a built-in straw for drinking a liquid and is embedded through the bottom of the bottle from the outside, is sealed to prevent leakage, and solves the problem of having separate pieces and allows a user to not be required to tilt their head back to access a liquid.
Abstract: A bottom-fill hydration bottle includes a main body having a valve assembly positioned along the bottom end. The valve assembly including an inlet opening, a valve, an outlet opening and a deflector. The deflector includes an input opening and at least one aperture that functions to discharge the received fluid in a direction that is different than the outlet opening of the valve. The hydration bottle includes a cap that is selectively coupled to the top of the main body. The cap includes a central spout having a bottom opening and an upper opening. A diffuser is positioned along the bottom opening of the spout. The diffuser including an output opening and at least one aperture that functions to receive fluid from the main body at an angle that is different from the bottom end of the spout.
Abstract: A multi-vessel reservoir assembly is provided. The multi-vessel reservoir assembly comprises a first fluid vessel, a second fluid vessel, and at least one linkage positioned between the first and second fluid vessels. The at least one linkage serves to maintain the first and second fluid vessels in fixed and spaced-apart relationship relative to one another. The first and second fluid vessels are independent and separately operable.

Abstract: A lid assembly for a beverage container is provided. The lid assembly has a lid base, a mouthpiece and a lid dome. The mouthpiece is connected to the lid base and has an extended annular member with a first end and a drink aperture extending through a center of the annular member. The lid dome is pivotally connected to the lid base and pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lid dome has a protrusion that extends from an inner surface of the lid dome, and a seal surface that operates to seal against the first end of the annular member of the mouthpiece to close the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position. The protrusion is generally seated within the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position.

Abstract: A beverage container having a straw storage compartment in the base of the container for a self-contained straw is described herein. The beverage container may comprise a container body having a beverage holding chamber and a straw storage compartment configured to enable storage of a removable drinking straw. A removable bottom closure component may be provided for opening and closing the straw storage compartment. The straw-holding structure may be attached to a wall defining the straw storage compartment or attached to an inner portion of the removable bottom closure component, such that when the removable bottom closure component is positioned to close the straw storage compartment, the straw-holding structure is located within the straw storage compartment. When the removable bottom closure component is fully engaged with the container body at an open lower end of the container body, the removable drinking straw may be entirely enclosed within the beverage container.
Abstract: An embodiment described in examples herein provides a leak resistant cooking pan. The leak resistant cooking pan includes a body and a lid. The lid includes a grooved rim sized to fit over a top edge of a sidewall of the body, wherein the grooved rim includes a heat resistant elastomer, and wherein the heat resistant elastomer forms a seal between the lid and the body.
Abstract: Described herein are inserts for reducing sloshing in a bottle. The insert may be integrally formed in an outer shell of the bottle or removably insertable into the outer shell. The insert may include an elongate body extending between a first end opposite a second end; and an aperture defined by the elongate body and extending longitudinally through the elongate body between the first and second ends. The elongate body has an uncompressed state when removed from an outer shell and a compressed state when positioned in the outer shell. A diameter of the elongate body in the compressed state is less than or equal to a smallest diameter of the liquid retention compartment. The insert has a durometer between about 40 A and about 70 A. A volume of the insert is less than about 10% of a volume defined by the outer shell. The insert includes a compressible mesh material.

Abstract: An object to provide a vent pipe isolation balloon for a liquefied gas storage tank, which has excellent physical strength, inflatability, and durability at cryogenic temperatures, and a vent pipe isolation device including the balloon. The vent pipe isolation balloon has inner and outer membranes made of silicon rubber, and a reinforcing substrate sandwiched between the inner membrane and the outer membrane. The balloon has an outer shape of a cylindrical shape or a truncated cone shape with both ends opened, and is inflated when an inert gas is injected into the balloon with the openings sealed. The reinforcing substrate is composed of a fiber bundle and has a network structure.
Abstract: A fire resistant structure includes a bottom plate and a cover plate connected together, a heat insulation layer between the bottom plate and the cover plate, wherein the bottom plate includes a fire prevention opening, the fire prevention opening having a fire prevention opening cover nut, wherein one side of the fire prevention opening near the heat insulation layer is provided with a fire prevention opening filter, the fire prevention opening filter connected to the bottom plate. A fire arrester is provided on the cover plate, the fire arrester includes a fire arrester shell, an accommodating cavity provided therein, a fire blocking core in the accommodating cavity, and a connection portion extending from one end of the fire arrester shell, wherein a plurality of connection holes are provided on the connection portion. An end face of the fire blocking core is flush with an end face of the connection portion.

Abstract: A composite storage tank may include a wall structure including at least three regions including an inner region, an outer region, and at least one permeation barrier. Another region may be optionally incorporated for venting potential permeation of fluids. The at least one permeation barrier and/or the venting layer may be strategically positioned between the inner region and the outer region to reduce or at least partially prevent fluid permeation of the inner region or the outer region. A vehicle may include such a composite storage tank. Methods of forming a composite fluid storage tank may include forming an inner composite region, applying a permeation barrier to an outer surface of the inner composite region, forming an outer composite region, and curing the inner composite region and the outer composite region with the permeation barrier to form the composite fluid storage tank.
