Abstract: Vehicle transactions can be facilitated based on location. A customer location can be tracked relative to vehicles at a dealer location. A customer in close proximity to a particular vehicle at a dealer location can be detected, and a finance agreement can be generated between a financing party, the customer, and the dealer of the vehicle based on the detection of the customer and the vehicle. Further, a mechanism is provided to aid execution of the finance agreement as a contract between the customer, the financing party, and the dealer to finalize a sale or lease of the vehicle.

Abstract: A social media computing system is described. The social media computing system provides a social media platform to a plurality of users. Additionally, the social media computing system provides merchants the ability to provide targeted offers to users of the social media platform. As used herein, the word “merchants” also includes service providers. The offers relate to goods or services provided by the merchants. In some situations, the offers are transmitted by the social media computing system to user devices based on requests by the users. In other situations, the offers can be transmitted directly from the merchants to the user devices based on determined locations of the user devices.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for automatically determining and providing item reviews to users. In some examples, a computing device obtains review data identifying one or more reviews for each of a plurality of items. The computing device determines keywords for each of the items based on parsing the review data corresponding to each of items. The computing device may obtain data identifying engagement of items for a user during a browsing session, such as items a user has clicked on. The computing device may also obtain data identifying previous purchase transactions, or previous review postings, for the user. The computing device then determines, based on the obtained data, which keywords may be of interest the user. In some examples, the keywords are used to identify reviews of an item for the user. In some examples, summaries of the reviews are generated and displayed to the user.

Abstract: A system for enabling remote management of storage facilities has a videoconferencing system that allows a remote sales agent to communicate with customers at any of a plurality of storage facilities. When a customer enters a main office of a storage facility, the presence of the customer is sensed by one or more sensor nodes, and the remote sales agent is alerted to the customer's presence. In response, a videoconference call with the sales agent is established so that the customer sees an image of and may interact with the sales agent through the videoconferencing system. After the call, the sale agent may tend to other activities, such as communicating with other customers at the same facility or other storage facilities. If the customer desires to speak with the agent, the customer may provide a user input that automatically establishes a call with the same sales agent, if available.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are given for providing enhanced product recommendations. In one embodiment, products are recommended to a consumer based on information manually entered by the consumer and/or derived from data relating to the consumer obtained from a health-monitoring platform. The recommended products are provided from a recommendation engine to a human operator or curator at an item selection entity, the curator selects a predetermined number of the recommended products for delivery to the consumer. Such delivery is established by the consumer to occur periodically (such as monthly) as part of a subscription service. Product recommendations are adjusted over time to relate to customer activity and interest data accumulated from the health-monitoring platform. In one embodiment, a recommendation engine is configured to specifically tailor its recommendation algorithms based on feedback information received from the curator and/or the consumer.

The platform identifies one or more application features based on the search queries within the stored unfulfilled queries, and generates an application build recommendation specifying the one or more application features. If a new application is received, the platform may determine whether the new application contains features that sufficiently correspond to the features in one of the application build recommendations. In some implementations, the method may determine a first set and second set of attributes and attribute types associated with a first and second item, respectively, based on description data associated with the items. Abstract: A computer system may connect to various customer-facing devices and manage or automate the order process between a retail store and the customer. The computer system may perform the dialogue and receive an order for items from the retail store and may perform quality control monitoring of the dialogue between customers and employees taking orders. The ordering system may utilize the ordered items in combination with various contextual cues to determine a customer identity which may then be linked to past orders and/or various order preferences. Based on the determined customer identity, the system may provide recommendations of additional order items or order alterations to the customer before personally identifying information has been collected from the customer. The determination of the customer identity and the determination of recommendations may be performed by machine learning algorithms that were trained on customer data and the retail store products.
