Abstract: A merchant and a user register with a payment processing system, which establishes a facial template based on a user image. The user signs into a payment application via a user computing device, which receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the payment processing system. The payment processing system transmits facial templates to the merchant camera device for other users who are also signed in to the payment application in range of the merchant beacon device. The merchant camera device compares a captured facial image against the received facial templates to identify the user. A merchant POS device operator selects an account of the user. The merchant POS device transmits transaction details to the payment processing system, which processes the transaction with an issuer system. The payment processing system receives an approval of the transaction authorization request and transmits a receipt to the merchant POS device.

Abstract: Aspects extract, from payroll data of employees of an organization, data historically associated to previous instances of certified tax credit eligibility; normalize the extracted data with respect to data type and data value; generate from the normalized extracted data via a neural network classifier multi-class outputs for each employee that indicate strengths of likelihood that each employee is currently eligible for each of a plurality of different tax credits; filter the normalized extracted data by removing portions associated to employees indicated within the multi-class outputs as having no currently eligible likelihood for the different tax credits, thereby generating a remainder set of normalized extracted data associated to remainder eligible ones of the employees; and prioritize application for the tax credits for the remainder eligible employees as a function of respective values and likelihoods of eligibility within the remainder set of normalized extracted data.

Abstract: A system for transcription is controlled and optimized by computer software which implements a competitive market for jobs is presented. Jobs are characterized by type, deadline, domain, difficulty, pay rate, customer and other factors. Editors are given credentials to perform jobs based on a complex of editor and job characteristics, and all editors qualified for a given job may then perform actions to preview and to claim the job. Job characteristics are adjusted dynamically to ensure that they are completed accurately and according to schedule.

Abstract: Item delivery optimization may be provided. Items may be identified as available for delivery at a first location to at least one second location. A route from the first location to the second location may be calculated and at least a portion of the route from the first location to the second location may be provided to a delivery mechanism, such as an automated delivery device and/or a user.

Abstract: Copies of a distributed ledger with multiple blocks are stored on multiple computing devices. A first computing device coming into proximity with a particular object triggers generation of a new block to the distributed ledger, the new block identifying changes to an inventory of objects of the object type and including a hash of a previous block of the distributed ledger. The new block is optionally verified before it is appended onto the distributed ledger and transmitted out to each of the multiple computing devices so that each copy of the distributed ledger includes the new block.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating customer transaction test data that simulates real world customer transaction data are disclosed. Abstract: A thin client may be utilized to facilitate data exchanges between two devices (e.g., a remote computer and a portable device). In some embodiments, the two devices may utilize differing communications protocols. The thin client may further be configured with a rules engine that determines one or more actions to be performed in response to one or more stimuli. The thin client may manage the processing flow between the two devices according to one or more predefined rules that are interpretable by the rules engine. The rules may be pushed to the thin client via any suitable device enabling the functionality of the thin client to be configured and/or modified without having to update the hardware and/or software of the thin client.

Abstract: A system and method for hidden security feature detection, analysis and authentication using a smart device is disclosed. The smart device can detect and analyze hidden security features using the camera capability of the smart device to capture a digital image, and then analyze and authenticate that image using a security service including a database of security feature data, processing rules, and other information. The security service can support a variety of smart devices and security features. The smart device includes a security-specific autofocus function that allows the smart device to be positioned within a range of distances and angles from a target document that includes hidden/covert security feature(s). The smart device can display an enhanced image showing the hidden security feature(s) and/or report if the security feature is valid or invalid, along with related information, via beeps, vibration, display, text messaging, or other reporting capabilities.
