Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for presenting service options to a user utilizing a three-dimensional structure. In use, a first group of service options are presented to a user, utilizing a three-dimensional structure. Additionally, a selection of one or more of the first group of service options by the user is received. Further, a selection of a depth element associated with the three-dimensional structure by the user is received. Further still, a second group of service options are presented to the user utilizing the three-dimensional structure, based on the selection of the one or more of the first group of service options and the selection of the depth element.

Abstract: A user interface facilitates assessing security risks for linear corridors. The interface includes a navigation window presenting geospatial data for an area associated with a corridor. The interface also includes a navigation tool having a corridor indicator that provides a diagrammatic linear representation of the linear corridor, indicia along the corridor indicator that represent critical assets, and a corridor window superimposed on the corridor indicator that slides linearly along the corridor indicator. The portion of the corridor displayed in the interface corresponds to a location of the corridor window on the corridor indicator. The interface also includes an attributes area presenting information associated with the area presented in the navigation window. At least one of the navigation window and the attributes area is configured to present risk assessment information associated with the linear corridor.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a virtual room-based user interface includes one or more virtual rooms. Each virtual room is rendered from one or more images captured of a corresponding physical room of a structure, and includes depictions of one or more light fixtures within the physical room, one or more furnishings within the physical room and one or more boundaries of the physical room. A user selects a particular depiction of a particular light fixture within a particular virtual room. In response, a state of the particular light fixture within the corresponding physical room is changed. Also, appearance of the particular virtual room is updated such that the depiction of the particular light fixture shows the particular light fixture with the changed state and the depictions of the one or more boundaries or the one or more furnishings show lighting effects resulting from the changed state.

Abstract: A method includes displaying information associated with an application on an electronic device, providing a visual notification of a received communication, and detecting a gesture. In response to detecting the gesture, a first part of an inbox is displayed while reducing display of the information, including at least partially displaying information associated with the received communication. Based on a characteristic of the gesture, providing the visual notification is discontinued.

Abstract: An information processing device includes a comment collection unit that collects comments on a submission target that progresses with the passage of time, a comment selection unit that selects comments to be presented from collected comments to a user based on the characteristics of the user, a display control unit that controls the display of the selected comments so that the user is able to give evaluations for the selected comments, and an evaluation collection unit that collects the evaluations given by the user.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system may modify categories for points of interest (POIs) for display on a map at a client computing device based on a bias value corresponding to a classification of a user. A system may receive interaction events from client computing devices. The interaction events may each include an indication of a user interaction with a POI displayed on a digital map at a client computing device and each POI may include a category and a default zoom level. Using a user's location data, the system and method may classify the user based on the user's familiarity with an area surrounding the interaction event POI and assign a numerical bias to POIs that include the category of each interaction event POI. Subsequent requests for mapping data may then return categories of POIs according to the type of user sending the request based on the bias value.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for location based sound management. Information associated with a display is defined or selected based on user inputs and sounds associated with responsive locations of the display. Defining of the information associated with the display may be based at least in part on user touches to a touch screen display. Parameters for playback are also selected, such as a number of audio channels, based on user inputs that may similarly comprise user touches to the touch screen display. Playback parameters may be changed during playback based on user inputs occurring during playback.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing feedback on an interface for controlling a robotic device are provided. An example method includes receiving an input on an interface of a device within an area on a display of the interface. The input may indicate an orientation command and a velocity command for a robotic device. The method may further include providing a display of direction indicators on the interface representing a location of the input based on the location of the input. A location of the direction indicators may represent a direction associated with the orientation command. The method may also include providing a display of a geometric shape within the area on the display representing the location of the input, such that a size of the geometric shape corresponds to a magnitude of velocity associated with the velocity command. In this manner, visual feedback may be provided while receiving the input.

Abstract: A system, a computer readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for playing intro music while an online game loads on a client system. One or more intro songs are identified, and the stages of loading are monitored. Once the loading reaches a stage where interactivity between the user and the online game is possible, the currently playing intro song finishes playing while interactivity is permitted, but after the currently playing intro song finishes, the intro music has ended.
