Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for constructing a building. A foundation is provided, upon which is disposed one or more first-floor columns, each having a lower end, an upper end and an upper surface. One or more second-floor columns, each having a lower end, an upper end, a lower surface and an upper surface on one or more of the first-floor columns, are disposed on the top of the first-floor columns so that the lower surface of one or more of the second-floor columns abuts, and is supported by, the upper surface of one or more of the first-floor columns.
Abstract: A trailer jack support comprises a receptacle for receiving a jack post of a trailer jack and a mechanism such as an insert therein for limiting the depth of insertion of the jack post into the receptacle. As a result, the jack post engages the insert with a more limited extension of the jack post. Also, if there is a significant distance between the ground and jack, for example if the trailer happens to be positioned above a depression in the ground, the jack post may not be able to be extended sufficiently to support the jack. By adjusting the elevation of an insert, a trailer jack support in accordance with this disclosure can reduce the extent to which a jack post needs to be extended to accommodate these varying ground conditions.
Abstract: A cantilevered support system is provided. The cantilevered support system comprises a vertical support pole and longitudinally extending upper and lower support arm assemblies that are securable to a wall.

Abstract: This specification describes a tray substrate for tile flooring that can be used in narrow grout line modular floating tile assemblies. The tray is preferably made of plastic and has vertical tray edges around the top of the tray substrate with upward and downward tabs protruding from the sides of the tray substrate wherein some of the tabs are at least partially recessed under the surface of the tray.
Abstract: A leg rest device may a first link member rotatably installed in a front of a seat frame, a second link member installed on a leg plate for supporting legs of a passenger and connected to the first link member to be movable along a longitudinal direction of the first link member, a guide member, one end of which is installed in the seat frame to be rotatable together with the first link member and the other end of which is connected to the second link member to be movable along a longitudinal direction of the second link member, and a driving portion installed in the seat frame. The driving portion, when operating, provides power for the first link member to be rotated, and allows the second link member to be rotated and simultaneously to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the first link member as the guide member is rotated together with the first link member.

Abstract: A device for anchoring constructions in the ground, having a tubular support column or support element and having supporting plates arranged in a supporting plane, wherein the tubular support column is in the form of a continuous part which extends from the supporting plane to above the ground, the tubular support column, the supporting plates and the connecting webs consist of steel, the tubular support column or the support element, the supporting plates and the connecting webs are connected together by screw connections, and the supporting plates are connected to the tubular support column by connecting webs.
Abstract: A seating device, in particular on a flight passenger seating device includes a moveably mounted primary unit and a moveably mounted secondary unit. The seating device has a locking unit which, depending on at least one operating position of the secondary unit, avoids a movement of the primary unit relative to a mounting unit.
Abstract: A bracket orients and/or supports a guest object from a host structure that includes one or more sheets that may overlap. The sheets may include a fastener. For example, a bracket may orient a video camera/recorder supported by an article of clothing worn by a law enforcement officer. The bracket bears at least part of the weight of the object and maintains an orientation of the object. Friction between the bracket and one or more of the host sheets may resist movement of the bracket with respect to the sheet. The bracket may be installed by passing a portion of the bracket through an orifice of the sheet. When used with an overlapping arrangement of two sheet edges, friction between the bracket and each sheet edge may resist movement of the bracket with respect to each sheet edge. Consequently, the bracket may further serve to mechanically couple the two sheet edges, align, and/or maintain the alignment of the two sheet edges.
