  • Patent number: 12200740
Abstract: This application provides example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes performing, by a network device on a preconfigured resource, data demodulation on uplink data from a terminal device. The network device can then send downlink control information (DCI) to the terminal device, where the DCI includes first indication information, and if the uplink data fails to be demodulated, or it is determined, based on a result of the data demodulation, that the terminal device needs to retransmit the uplink data, the first indication information indicates either the terminal device to initiate random access or EDT and retransmit the uplink data or that the uplink data fails to be demodulated.

  • Patent number: 12200600
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for a UE to determine whether to maintain or remove a radio frequency (RF) path from a set of candidate paths considered for transmit antenna switch diversity (ASDIV). The determination allows the UE to avoid signal loss or degradation in coexisting networks at similar frequency ranges. For example, ASDIV allows two or more antennas to form different input and output ports to establish different RF paths. Coexistent networks, such as wireless wide-area-network (WWAN) and wireless local-area-network (WLAN) may utilize different RF paths to optimize reliability and efficiency. The overlapping of the bands may cause signal attenuation or degradation from at least one of the networks. The present disclosure provides techniques for detecting signal attenuation at least partially caused by overlapping bands and removing an associated RF path to avoid such signal loss or attenuation.

  • Patent number: 12192995
Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) is configured to communicate with a base station over a Uu link and communicate with a second UE over a sidelink. The first UE transmits a joint scheduling request and a joint buffer status report (BSR) for an uplink transmission on the Uu link with the base station and a sidelink transmission on the sidelink with the second UE. The joint BSR is associated with a relative latency of the uplink transmission and the sidelink transmission. The first UE receives from the base station, a joint transmission grant scheduling the uplink transmission on a first set of resources and scheduling the sidelink transmission on a second set of resources. The first UE transmits a first transmission on the first set of resources for the uplink transmission and a second transmission on the second set of resources for the sidelink transmission.

  • Patent number: 12184587
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for signal source identification and determination. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, in response to detecting a signal, a device identifies at least one unit sequence from the signal. A bandwidth of each unit sequence is a common divisor of overlapping system bandwidths among a plurality of devices. The at least one unit sequence uniquely identifies a further device transmitting the signal. The device determines, based on the at least one unit sequence, the further device from the plurality of devices. As such, a device suffering interference due to atmospheric ducting can find out an interference source and perform an action to avoid the interference.
