The knob is adjustable relative to the base, and/or the roller is adjustable relative to the knob, so that the roller is vertical and water filing the roller will evenly and uniformly overflow and clean the roller outer surface. The knob may be an upstanding, tapered, hollow cylinder that rotates about a horizontal axis at its base to adjust its angle relative to the base, wherein the tapered cylindrical surface allows the cleaner to cooperate with variously-sized rollers. In another version, the knob is a hollow sphere, with its top end truncated, and with several spaced-apart vertical slits in its side, like a collet, for flexing/bending to various diameters to cooperate with variously-sized rollers. In another version, the knob is a sphere.

Abstract: A dry cleaning system arranged for washing articles employing a cleaning solution. The dry cleaning system includes a wash tank (2) for washing an article to be washed with a cleaning solution. The wash tank (2) is arranged for washing the article at an increased pressure compared to atmospheric pressure. The dry cleaning system includes a fluid displacement device (1), such as a pump, connected to the wash tank (2) and is arranged for transferring the cleaning solution through the dry cleaning system in a first operational mode. The fluid displacement device is arranged to reduce the pressure in the wash tank towards atmospheric pressure in a second operational mode.

The basin includes a drain formed in its floor; an additive reservoir integrally formed as a depression in its floor; additive fill lines defining pre-calibrated volume measurement areas for measurement of additives in the reservoir; a thermometer; and basin fill lines on its side walls defining pre-calibrated volume measurement areas for measurement of cleaning liquid filled into the basin. The pump includes inlet and outlet tubes for drawing cleaning liquid from the basin into the pump, and for pressurized output of the cleaning liquid from the pump to the medical device.

Abstract: A wafer container cleaning device for cleaning container bodies and container covers of wafer containers includes a housing having a cleaning chamber defined therein, a rotor rotatably installed within the cleaning chamber of the housing, a plurality of container holders mounted to the rotor to removably hold the container bodies and the container covers, and a cleaning solution sprayer nozzle for spraying a cleaning solution toward the container bodies and the container covers held by the container holders. Each of the container holders includes a support tray having a body support portion for supporting each of the container bodies in an upside down state and a cover support portion for supporting each of the container covers.

Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and method for use in the cleaning of soiled substrates, the apparatus comprising: (a) housing means, having: (i) a first upper chamber having mounted therein a rotatably mounted cylindrical cage, and (ii) a second lower chamber located beneath said cylindrical cage; (b) at least one recirculation means; (c) access means; (d) a multiplicity of delivery means; and (e) sealing means, wherein said sealing means is removably attached to the outer surface of the cylindrical side walls of said rotatably mounted cylindrical cage, and is adapted to prevent the ingress or egress of fluids and solid particulate matter from the interior of said cage. The method involves cleaning the soiled substrate by treatment of the substrate with a formulation comprising solid particulate cleaning material and wash water, the method being carried out using the apparatus of the invention, and the apparatus and method find particular application in the cleaning of textile fabrics.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a tank that is to be installed below the fill line of a tank includes a housing sealably attached to a sidewall of a tank, and a tubing having a flexible output end positioned within the housing such that the output end of the tubing extends past the sidewall of the tank. A control linkage is slidably positioned within the housing. The control linkage is connected to the flexible output end of the tubing. The control linkage is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The orientation of the flexible output end of the tubing is changed as the control linkage is moved between positions, such that the direction of fluid flowing out of the flexible output end of the tubing is also changed. A seal is provided for sealing the tubing and the control linkage within the housing.

Abstract: A cleaning or care device for medical instruments has a cleaning or care space, at least one connecting device arranged in the cleaning or care space, to which an instrument to be cleaned can be connected, a delivery device for delivery of at least one cleaning or care medium, wherein the delivery device has a frame, on which at least one nozzle for dispensing a cleaning or care medium is provided on the outside of the instrument to be cleaned, the frame being movable relative to the at least one connecting device, to follow essentially a longitudinal axis of an instrument connected to the at least one connecting device, and a magnetic coupling device, which transfers a driving movement generated outside of the cleaning or care space to the frame to move the frame relative to the at least one connecting device. A method for producing a cleaning or care device is also described.

Abstract: A dishwasher spray arm assembly has a spray arm rotationally configured on a conduit. The spray arm includes a lower spray arm component mated with an upper spray arm component with an internal space defined between the upper and lower spray arm components. A bearing is interposed between the spray arm and conduit to conduct water from said conduit into the internal space, with the spray arm rotatably configured on the bearing. The bearing further includes a lower shaft section that mates with the conduit and an upper disc section sandwiched between the upper and lower spray arm components. A low-friction washer is disposed between the upper disc section and the lower spray arm component. The lower spray arm component and the disc section define a tortuous interference path for water to leak out from the internal space around the bearing.
