The network may determine that the location code is valid and determine the location of the second device. The network may provide an indication of the location of the second device to the first device.

This may lead to increased power consumption. This may reduce the rate at which the client terminal has to turn on and off its transmitter, receiver and other modules which may in turn reduce its power consumption.
