Abstract: Techniques are described herein for providing call logs for cellular and internet calls that are rerouted to one or more terminating caller devices. The techniques include: organizing a call routing scheme based on call routing configuration settings, the call routing scheme directing routing of incoming calls to one or more user devices that receives service from a telecommunications network; receiving a call log request from a user device that includes a unique identifier of the user device or a user; transmitting the call log request to a database server of the telecommunications network to obtain a call log for an incoming call to the one or more user devices, the incoming call being routed according to the call routing scheme; and sending the call log to the user device to display the call log information at the user device.

Abstract: A method of acquiring information on a resource region for transmitting PHICH and a method of receiving PDCCH using the same are disclosed. The resource region for transmitting the PHICH can be specified by first information corresponding to the per-sub frame PHICH number and second information corresponding to a duration of the PHICH within the subframe. The first Information can be specified into a form resulting from multiplying a predetermined basic number by a specific constant. And, the specific constant can be transmitted via PBCH. Moreover, the second information can be acquired from the PBCH as well.

Abstract: A radio communication equipment installed on a vehicle, comprises a radio communicator configured to perform radio communication with a network, and a controller configured to perform location registration and emergency call origination to a public safety answering point (PSAP) as an emergency call process via the network, in which the controller is configured to perform any one of termination of the emergency call process or continuation of the emergency call process, according to a failure cause value notified via the network, when at least one of the location registration and the emergency call origination is failed when the emergency call process is performed via the network in occurrence of an emergency situation.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for Internet Protocol based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registration and device, a communication device, and a storage medium. The method for IMS registration includes determining whether a network side supports an IMS service; acquiring, based on an IMS Access Point Name (APN), an address for the IMS registration when the network side supports the IMS service; performing the IMS registration based on the acquired address for the IMS registration; and initiating an IMS re-registration when the IMS registration fails.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods, and products comprises an authentication server for caller ID verification. When a caller makes a phone call, the server receives the phone call and verifies whether the phone call is from a registered device associated with the phone number. The server queries the registered device to retrieve one or more current call states via an authentication function on the registered device. The server compares the states and/or state transitions to the observed states and/or state transitions of the phone call. If the registered device states and/or state transitions match the observed phone call states and/or state transitions, the server verifies that the phone call is from the registered device and not some imposter's device. If there is no such match, the server rejects the phone call before the call phone is connected or terminates the phone call after the phone call is connected.

Abstract: A single camera module able to swivel to capture images in front of and behind an electronic device includes a housing, a camera module, and a turnover element. The turnover element includes a support plate and a connecting portion. The housing is arranged on the support plate, thus forming a receiving space together with the support plate. The camera assembly is received in the receiving space. The connecting portion is arranged on the support plate and located on an outside of the housing. The disclosure further provides an electronic device including the camera module.

Abstract: A near field communication (NFC) mobile device may obtain location information from a NFC terminal device that is communicating with the NFC mobile device. A data transfer link may be established between the NFC mobile device and a mobile telecommunication network. The mobile telecommunication network may prompt the NFC mobile device to obtain location information from the NFC terminal device. The mobile telecommunication network may then receive the location information from the NFC mobile device via the data transfer link, and may subsequently determine a location of the NFC mobile device using the location information.

Abstract: In a wireless communications system that supports directional communications (e.g., a millimeter wave (mmW) system), a base station and a user equipment (UE) may utilize directional transmissions during a paging procedure. In some cases, a base station may use beam sweeping to transmit a control channel, which may contain a paging group information. For example, the base station may configure the UE or a group of UEs to monitor for the paging group information over a set of time-frequency resources. A UE that receives the paging group information may determine transmission resources to monitor for a subsequent data channel transmission based at least in part on the identified paging group information. The base station may then transmit the paging information over the indicated transmission resources.

Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication terminal capable of efficiently exchanging, with another wireless communication terminal, data items generated by a plurality of application programs. Abstract: Techniques for location source control for paired devices are described. Location source control selects a location source for a mobile device. The mobile device can receive, from an application program, a request for determining a location of the mobile device. The mobile device can determine a first location estimate using a location subsystem of the mobile device. The mobile device can determine whether to provide the first location estimate as input to the application program, or to provide a second location estimate as input to the application program. The second location estimate can be an estimated location of the companion device and determined by the companion device.

Abstract: A system and method to determine availability of caregivers to respond to nurse calls or other alerts originating in patient rooms is provided. Caregivers are designated as unavailable depending upon room types in which they are located, or depending upon patient types in the rooms in which they are located, or depending upon how long they have been present in certain rooms, or depending upon whether the caregivers have designated themselves as unavailable, or any combination of the foregoing. A system and method to escalate alerts to other caregivers if a primary caregiver is unavailable includes escalating first to a designated secondary caregiver and then to a caregiver who is closest in proximity to the room from which the alert originated if the secondary caregiver is also unavailable.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for completing a transaction using a wireless mobile communication channel and another communication channel, particularly another communication channel that provides for near field radio channels (NFC), as well as other communication channels, such as Bluetooth or WIFI. The present invention also provides a method of completing a transaction in which a management server assists a transaction server and a point of sale terminal in forwarding transaction information to a hand-held mobile device, with the transaction having originated from the hand-held mobile device. There is also provided a hand-held mobile device that wirelessly communicates between a secure element and a radio element that are associated with the hand-held mobile device.

Abstract: An emergency call practice application can execute on user equipment (UE) to allow users to practice dialing 9-1-1 or other emergency numbers. In a network practice mode, the emergency call practice application can initiate a practice emergency call by sending a call setup message to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). The IMS can route the call setup message to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) routing server, which can recognize a destination identifier in the call setup message as being associated with a test server instead of a PSAP. The PSAP routing server can forward the call setup message to the test server to connect the practice emergency call.
