Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for controlling cooperative surgical instruments are provided. Various aspects of the present disclosure provide for coordinated operation of surgical instruments accessing a common body cavity of a patient from different approaches to achieve a common surgical purpose. For example, various methods, devices, and systems disclosed herein can enable the coordinated treatment of surgical tissue by disparate minimally invasive surgical systems that approach the tissue from varying anatomical spaces and operate in concert with one another to effect a desired surgical treatment.

Abstract: A surgical system includes at least one input coupler configured to receive an input, an end effector assembly, and an actuation assembly operably coupled between the at least one input coupler and the end effector assembly such that, in response receipt of the input by the at least one input coupler, the end effector assembly is manipulated. The system further includes a storage device storing setting information and adjustment information. The setting information enables determination of a first input to the at least one input coupler to achieve a desired manipulation of the end effector assembly. The adjustment information enables adjustment of the setting information for determination of a second input, different from the first input, to the at least one input coupler to achieve the desired manipulation of the end effector assembly.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for improving compound detection and characterization. Methods for characterizing a sample are disclosed. The methods can include providing a sample to a liquid chromatography system capable of sample separation to generate sample components; analyzing sample components by multiplexed targeted selected ion monitoring (SIM) to generate an inclusion list; and performing iterative mass spectral data-dependent acquisition (DDA) from the inclusion list, to identify individual sample components thereby characterizing the sample. In one example, multiplexed targeted SIMs and iterative MS2 DDA acquisition is used to increase robust compound identification for cell culture medium analysis.

Abstract: A retractable syringe device includes: a handle including a hollow body for receiving a syringe through an opening of the handle, the hollow body including a syringe actuator that moves the syringe between a distal position and a proximal position; and an instrument distally extending from the handle, the instrument including a channel extending through the instrument, the channel configured to receive a needle coupled to the syringe. When the syringe is in the distal position, a distal end of the needle distally extends from the instrument, and when the syringe is in the proximal position, the distal end of the needle is retracted into the channel. The handle of the device can include a fixed or removable structure for removably coupling to a proximal end of a shaft of an endoscope.
Abstract: At least one high-quality image of a speaker is captured. A low network quality condition may be detected between a client device and a video service node. In response to detecting the low network quality condition, a data stream comprising changes to the high-quality image of the speaker needed to recreate a representation of the speaker is generated. Transmission of the video stream of the speaker between the client device of the speaker and the video service node is stopped and, simultaneously, transmission of the data stream is begun. A digital twin of the speaker is then generated for display at the client device based on the data stream and the high-quality image of the speaker.
Abstract: A reclamation system for an additive manufacturing apparatus can include a collection structure configured to remove at least a portion of the resin from a foil. A containment vessel can be configured to retain the resin removed from the foil. A drain can direct the resin from the containment vessel to a reservoir.

Abstract: An additive manufacturing apparatus can include a stage configured to hold one or more cured layers of resin that form a component. A radiant energy device can be operable to generate and project radiant energy in a patterned image. An actuator can be configured to change a relative position of the stage relative to the radiant energy device. A reclamation system can be downstream of the stage and can be configured to remove at least a portion of the resin from a resin support. The reclamation system can include a first collection structure configured to accept a resin support therethrough along a resin support movement direction. A first scraper is positioned within the first collection structure. The first scraper has an elongation axis that is offset from the resin support movement direction by an offset angle that is less than 90 degrees.

Abstract: A processing system for processing signals from a plurality of transducers of an ultrasonic sensor in order to determine characteristic information relating to an object detected by the ultrasonic sensor is provided. The system comprises a coupling device for transforming the signals received from the transducers into pulses, and a pulse processing unit for determining the characteristic information based on the pulses delivered by the coupling device. The coupling device comprises: a thresholding unit for applying, for each signal received from a transducer, thresholding to a signal derived from the signal received from the transducer and extracting directional information contained in the phase of the derived signal; a transformation unit for transforming the derived signal into pulses containing the phase of the signal, using the information extracted by the thresholding unit.

Abstract: Techniques for monitoring data transport in a network virtualization function chain (chain). A path tracing packet is generated having a Midpoint Compressed Data (MCD) to collect path tracing information of the chain. The network virtualization function node is configured to record an MCD containing Wide Local Path Tracing Identification (WL PT ID). The WL PT ID includes a first field having a value that indicates that a non-standard path tracing format is to be used and a second field that indicates a particular path tracing format to be used. The path tracing packet is passed through the chain and is received back after passing through the chain. Data collected by the path tracing packet is then analyzed to determine which network virtualization function nodes and chains the path tracing packet passed through and the amount of time taken for the path tracing packet to pass through the chain.
