    Abstract: An apparatus, system, method, and computer-readable recording media perform smart control in a wireless network, which includes a plurality of wireless devices. Configuration parameters are obtained to set one wireless device as an active master device in the wireless network. The active master device receives updates in the configuration parameters and learned station (STA) information, and periodically transmits the updates to the configuration parameters and the learned STA information to the other wireless devices in the wireless network. Any one of the other wireless devices in the wireless network can use the updates to the configuration parameters and the learned STA information to be set as a new active master device in the wireless network when the active master device becomes out of network.

To maintain connectivity for clients, the clients may be temporarily transitioned to a non-DFS channel while an isolated/dedicated radio chain is used to perform the requisite Channel Availability Check (CAC) assessment on a DFS channel if the radio, based on the ranked channel list, selects a DFS channel as the alternative channel.

The computer system compares the token to a token stored by the computer system. In response to the tokens matching, the computer system transmits second data to the first device via the second device. The second data includes an updated password of the network. The first device uses the second data to reestablish a connection with the network.

The UE may determine characteristics for measuring the signal based on the interference and may generate samples of the signal based on the measurement characteristics. Additionally, the UE may identify one or more antennas for measuring the signal and generate the samples based on the identified antennas. The UE may transmit the waveform report to the base station based on the samples. In some cases, the waveform may be based on a fractional symbol reporting scheme or a time mask with an offset and sampling rate.

A spectrum band transition management system may thus be used to manage wireless network equipment and spectrum usage during the transition period.
