    Abstract: Systems and methods for rendering three-dimensional (3D) scenes having improved visual characteristics from a pair of 2D images having different viewpoints. The 3D scene is created by obtaining a first two-dimensional (2D) image of a scene object from a first viewpoint, obtaining a second 2D image of the scene object from a second viewpoint that is different than the first viewpoint, creating a depth map from the first and second 2D images, creating a 3D scene from the depth map and the first and second 2D images, detecting regions of the initial 3D scene with incomplete image information, reconstructing the detected regions of the 3D scene, determining replacement information and modify the reconstructed regions, and rendering the 3D scene with the modified reconstructed regions from a plurality of viewpoints.

A second DFT block performs a second single tone DFT on a negative tone associated with the sounding sequence. A DFT coefficient generation block generates first DFT coefficients based on a nominal frequency of the positive tone and an estimated frequency offset between a transmitter frequency and a receiver frequency. The DFT coefficient generation block generates second DFT coefficients based on a nominal frequency of the negative tone and the estimated frequency offset. Multipliers in the DFT blocks multiply I and Q values of the sounding sequence with the coefficients. Accumulators in the DFT blocks accumulate multiplier outputs. An arctan function receives averaged accumulated values from the first and second DFT blocks and supplies first and second phase values used to calculate fractional timing.

    Abstract: A system and method is provided for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) guided respiratory gated radiotherapy using a respiratory motion model. MRI-guided respiratory gating is performed with a continuously updated model that represents a patient's internal anatomy as a mathematical function of an external respiratory surrogate. The motion model may be built and updated by acquiring images of a tissue in a subject and measuring, using the images, a position of the tissue in the images to determine motion of the tissue. The surrogate respiratory signal is acquired contemporaneously with acquiring the images. Motion of the tissue and the surrogate respiratory signal are correlated to create the motion model for the subject and gating a radiotherapy system may then be based upon the motion model. A multi-planar model-based respiratory gating may also be performed by sequentially imaging a stack of adjacent slice positions.
