Abstract: An extendable table assembly includes a primary board, a support unit mounted on the primary board, a foldable primary stand pivotally connected with the support unit, an extension unit arranged under the primary board and connected with the support unit, a secondary board placed on the extension unit, and a connecting unit mounted between the support unit and the extension unit. The extension unit includes a strut, an enclosure frame connected with the strut and the support unit, and a foldable secondary stand movable with the extension unit. The secondary stand includes two legs pivotally connected with the enclosure frame and a V-shaped brace mounted between the two legs and the strut. The two legs cooperate with the primary stand to support the primary board.

Each securable guide includes one or more bearing surfaces in engagement with the respective guide-receiving track to permit linear sliding translation of the drawer relative to the securable guide. Each securable guide also further includes a securing element having an installed position in which the securing element engages the lateral sides of the frame to attach and fix the securable guide in position relative to the frame. The securing element is movable away from this installed position to facilitate installation or removal of the drawer from the frame.

An adjustment mechanism comprising a casing, first and second arms, a second arm, a button, and an elastic member. The first and second arms are movably disposed in a channel of the casing. The button is operably coupled with the first and second arms and selectively pushes a first end of the first arm out of a first side of the casing and a second end of a second arm out of a second side of the casing. The elastic member abuts the casing and button such that the button is held at a desired position and consequently the first and second arms are held at a desired state under normal conditions. The adjustment mechanisms of the present disclosure provide an easy, convenient and safe means for height or length adjustment.
