Abstract: Techniques for optimizing upload prioritization of files between computer systems are described herein. A computer system may assign each file of a plurality of files to one or more groups based at least in part on metadata associated with each file, where each group of the one or more groups is associated with a weight representing a ratio of priority for uploading to a server computer. A prioritized list for a portion of the plurality of files may be generated based at least in part on the one or more groups and associated weights of the one or more groups. One or more files from the prioritized list may be transmitted to the server computer based at least in part on an expiration of a certain time period where the expiration of the certain time period is associated with the transmitting of the content to the server computer.

Abstract: Method, systems and apparatuses provides for technology that provides a decentralized network. The technology includes a managing node that generates a list of a plurality of compute nodes that are within a tier. The technology further includes a first compute node providing compute resources for other nodes to utilize. The first compute node conducts a determination that the first compute node is within the tier based at least in part on the compute resources, and sends a notification to the managing node to add the first compute node to the list based on the determination. The technology also includes a client node conducting an identification of the tier based on a compute capacity that is predicted to be utilized to execute one or more tasks associated with the client node. The client node identifies the managing node based on the identification and requests the list from the managing node.

Abstract: Described are examples for providing management of a virtual wide area network (vWAN) based on operator policies. A network orchestrator presents, to a network operator, a representation of the vWAN including virtual network entities associated with respective geographic locations and virtual connections between the virtual network entities. The network orchestrator receives a policy for the virtual wide area network from the network operator via the representation, the policy to be implemented at one or more of the virtual connections. The network orchestrator translates the policy for the virtual wide area network into a configuration of an underlying wide area network (WAN). The underlying WAN a plurality of geographically distributed physical computing resources in geographic regions corresponding to the virtual network entities and connections there between.

Abstract: A data security system interfaces with a plurality of heterogeneous online collaboration platforms, each having its own platform specific set of collaboration settings to control access to collaborative data. The data security system maps a set of common collaboration settings to the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform and monitors a state of the platform specific set of collaboration settings of each heterogeneous online collaboration platform. If the data security system determines that the state of a platform specific collaboration setting does not comply with a specified common collaboration setting state, the data security system automatically changes the state of the platform specific collaboration setting to comply with the common collaboration setting state.

Abstract: The warehouse control system (WCS) coordinates communication between communicating devices and systems. The WCS stores mappings of different message types that are transmitted between different components of a warehouse. The WCS accepts inbound messages from the components, parses the inbound messages, and handles the data accordingly. The WCS also transmits outbound messages to components of the warehouse. The WCS forms the outbound message according to protocols defined in the WCS. The WCS maps positions of each message to predefined data fields to define the message type. The mapping of the fields to positions of each message type defines the fields of the message for future message handling.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide novel methods for providing a set of services for a logical network associated with an edge forwarding element acting between a logical network and an external network. In some embodiments, the services are provided using a logical service forwarding plane that connects the edge forwarding element to a set of service nodes that each provide a service in the set of services. The service classification operation of some embodiments identifies a chain of multiple service operations that has to be performed on the data message. In some embodiments, identifying the chain of service operations includes selecting a service path to provide the multiple services. After selecting the service path, the data message is sent along the selected service path to have the services provided.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to facilitate meter to meter matching for media identification. Example apparatus disclosed herein include an unknown signature comparer, a stack counter, and a reference database updater. The unknown signature comparer is to select a candidate unknown signature segment meeting a threshold length from a set of unknown signature segments collected at a first audience measurement location, and compare individual signatures of the candidate unknown signature segment with a collection of unknown signature segments collected at a second audience measurement location. The stack counter is to count a number of times that the candidate unknown signature segment matches unknown signature segments in the collection, and identify the candidate unknown signature segment as a matched signature segment when the number of times meets a counter threshold.

Abstract: Methods and systems for a networked storage system is provided. One method includes transforming by a processor, performance parameters associated with storage volumes of a storage system for representing each storage volume as a data point in a parametric space; generating by the processor, a plurality of bins in the parametric space using the transformed performance parameters; adjusting by the processor, bin boundaries for the plurality of bins for defining a plurality of service levels for the storage system based on the performance parameters; and using the defined plurality of service levels for operating the storage system.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a network system features a first virtual private cloud (VPC) network and a second VPC network. The first VPC network includes a first plurality of gateways. Each gateway of the first plurality of gateways is in communications with other gateways. Similarly, a second VPC network includes a second plurality of gateways. Each of the second plurality of gateways is communicatively coupled to the each of the first plurality of gateways to support data exchanges between resources deployed in different public cloud networks.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for managing networks. According to at least one example, a method is provided for connecting to a network controller across different regions. The method includes identifying a first connection with a network orchestrator during establishment of a second connection with the network orchestrator from a network controller; establishing a sibling session that links the second connection and the first connection at a control plane; inserting a sibling data message that identifies the sibling session into control messages sent; receiving a message from the network orchestrator over the second connection, the message including an address of the network controller associated with the second connection; and transmitting the second address of the network controller over the first connection to the network orchestrator.

Abstract: A system and techniques for intelligent network design allows for capture and conversion of a basic network design, often manually created, into a digital format without duplication of effort. The disclosed techniques provide a faster, more intelligent approach for designing a network by analyzing many thousands of existing network designs and recommending proposed solutions based on user provided objectives. The techniques can generate provider independent code that provides flexibility in supporting arbitrary provider targets. The techniques can also output provider specific code that allow for rapid, efficient deployment of the network. In addition, the technique can output network system architecture designs of varying details that can be customized for the intended audience. The techniques provide for automated importing and updating provider changes to network components, schemas, and application programming interfaces reducing any lag in system design.

Abstract: A scam detection system includes a user computer that runs a security application and a backend system that runs a scam detector. An email is received at the user computer. The security application extracts and forwards a content of the email, which includes a body of the email, to the backend system. The email body of the email is anonymized by removing personally identifiable information from the email body. A hash of the anonymized email body is generated and compared against hashes of a whitelist and a blacklist. The anonymized email body is classified. A segment of text of the anonymized email body is identified and provided to the user computer when the anonymized email body is classified as scam.

Abstract: Technologies for dynamic telematics message parsing include a telematics cloud server that receives a message definition and generates a dynamic message parser based on the message definition. The message definition may be a binary structure definition. A telematics device receives a message data payload from a peripheral device of a vehicle and then transmits a device message including the message data payload to the cloud server. The peripheral device may include a sensor or a controller coupled to the vehicle. The cloud server executes the dynamic message parser with the message data payload and generates a standardized data structure. The standardized data structure may be processed using a telematics cloud platform. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a system and method for deploying and managing services in tenant clusters using a management cluster. The management cluster includes an integration service in communication with a service controller. The integration service communicates with a service endpoint using privileged credentials for receiving tenant cluster-specific configuration information. The integration service generates access credentials for the new tenant cluster to communicate with the service provider. The integration service provides tenant cluster-specific configuration information and access credentials to the service controller for the deployment of the service in the new tenant cluster. The service controller deploys the service at the new tenant cluster and manages the lifecycle of the service at the new tenant cluster.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for ensuring that one or more compliance information bundles associated with one or more end-point identifiers maintain compliance with one or more regulations. It is detected that a rules engine has been updated with a new regulation. Based on an identification that one or more compliance information bundles associated with the one or more end-point identifiers will not be compliant with the new regulation after an expiration of a grace period associated with the new regulation, a status associated with each one or more compliance information bundles is changed to a provisionally-approved status. The changing of the status associated with each of the one or more compliance information bundles to the provisionally-approved status causes each of the one or more compliance information bundles to be treated, temporarily like the status of each the one or more compliance information bundles is an approved status.

Abstract: A method for visualizing network flows of a network is provided. The method monitors network flows between a group of machines in a network. The method associates identifiers with the monitored network flows. The method aggregates the monitored network flows into a set of groups based on the associated identifiers. The method displays a set of flow records for the each group of the set of groups.

Abstract: A system and method for providing on-demand edge compute. The system may include an orchestrator that provides a UI and that controls an abstraction layer for implementing a workflow for providing on-demand edge compute. The abstraction layer may include a server configuration orchestration (SCO) system (e.g., a Metal-as-a-Service (MaaS) system) and API that may provide an interface between the orchestrator and the SCO. The API may enable the orchestrator to communicate with the SCO for receiving requests that enable the SCO to integrate with existing compute resources to perform various compute provisioning tasks (e.g., to build and provision a server instance). The various tasks, when executed, may provide on-demand edge compute service to users. The SCO API may further enable the ECS orchestrator to receive information from the SCO (e.g., compute resource information, status messages).

Abstract: A computing system for interacting with a user comprises a processor and a memory storing executable software which, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to commence an interactive session with a user, receive input data from the user during the interactive session, analyze the received input data and output a response to the user to continue the interactive session with the user. The processor, prior to outputting the response, identifies one or more topics from the received input data, ascertains a tone of the received input data, generates a mirroring prompt based on the ascertained tone of the received input data, and output to the user the generated mirroring prompt. The processor outputs the mirroring prompt to the user during the interactive session to cause an increase in a level of engagement of the user with the interactive session.

Abstract: An announcement protocol may allow disparate, and previously incompatible, content delivery network caches to exchange information and cache content for one another. Announcement data may be stored by the respective caches, and used to determine whether a cache is able to service an incoming request. URL prefixes may be included in the announcements to identify the content, and longest-match lookups may be used to help determine a secondary option when a first cache determines that it lacks a requested content.

Abstract: A method for an intelligent multicast proxy between containers and an outside network includes receiving, at a proxy, a multicast discovery message from a container of one or more containers running on a host OS of a server. The proxy is running on the host OS and the server is connected to computing devices over a subnet network. The method includes adding a container tag to a user defined field of the multicast discovery message and relaying the multicast discovery message with the container tag to two or more of the computing devices connected to the subnet network. The method includes receiving a response to the multicast discovery message, where the response includes the container tag, and relaying the response to the container based on the container tag.
