The baggage handling module identifies at least some of the scanned baggage as being suspicious, subsequent to scanning, and a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is attached onto the suspicious baggage. A RFID reader scans each baggage to determine the presence of RFID tag, and consequently instructs the alert generation module to generate an alert message notifying the presence of a suspicious baggage.
