Abstract: An online system aggregates content item from third party systems for presentation to users of the online system. To do so, the online system accesses the web pages of third party systems to trigger tracking pixels that have been previously placed by the third party systems. A triggered tracking pixel sends a server call to the online system that includes tracking pixel data such as information about the content item that was available on the web page. Based on the information gathered through various tracking pixels, the online system generates a catalog of the content item that can then be presented to a user of the online system such that the user can browse content items of the third party system while accessing the online system.

Abstract: A method, system, and non-transitory computer readable medium for transaction processing based on a real-time conversation are disclosed. A chat-based ordering method includes displaying a chat user interface (UI) for a first product on a service page for displaying information associated with the first product, creating a chat room for a chat between a seller associated with the product and a user in response to a selection on the chat UI on the service page, and providing an ordering capability for at least one of the first product and at least one second product through the chat room, wherein the providing includes displaying or linking information associated with the first product on the chat room.

Abstract: A method, system and computer-readable medium are provided for generating and maintaining a catalogue of belongings for a user. The method includes the steps of receiving image data from a user, the image data containing images of one or more items of belonging; identifying one or more items from the image data, determining information regarding the identified one or more items, and adding at least one of the identified one or more items and information regarding the at least one of the identified one or more items to a catalogue of belonging for the user.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide computerized, networked procurement systems designed to interact with source sites through asynchronous, progressive scripting requests to retrieve richer data sets from websites utilizing interactive loading and multiple hyperlinked pages either with a single vendor or across a plurality of vendors. These may provide improvements on prior art systems, such as by improving the response time relative to a prior art synchronous system from 30-60 seconds to less than ten seconds.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer-implemented method for managing consumer savings initiated from a payment card transaction is included. The payment card transaction involves a cardholder and a payment card of the cardholder. The method uses a computer device in communication with an issuing bank. The computer device includes a memory. The method includes receiving, by the computer device, transaction data associated with the payment card transaction. The transaction data separately identifies a payment amount and a savings amount. The savings amount is an amount the cardholder selects to save. The method also includes identifying, by the computer device, a savings account number associated with the cardholder. The method further includes transmitting the savings amount and the savings account number to the issuing bank for recording as a savings accrual for the cardholder. The issuing bank is the issuer of the payment card.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to obtain transaction confirmation are described. One example method includes emulating a payment method using a close-proximity communication device of a mobile device, establishing a close-proximity communication link using the close-proximity communication device of the mobile device, transferring payment information from the mobile device using the close-proximity communication device, switching the close-proximity communication device of the mobile device to an information receiving communication mode, and receiving a transaction confirmation at the close-proximity communication device of the mobile device. Other implementations are possible.

Abstract: A manufacturing materiel management system. The system includes a product inventory monitor including at least one processor having a memory and a communications link, and at least one of a minimum-maximum item matrix and an item supplier dependency matrix. The system includes a manufacturing line item sensor network coupled to the product inventory monitor and configured to monitor in real-time inventory levels of a plurality of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies in the product inventory used for a manufacturing line for manufacturing an object. The system includes a disruption pattern detector in communication with the manufacturing line item sensor network, and configured to detect normal and abnormal inventory turns, and to generate therefrom normal and disruption patterns. The system includes a resource allocator configured to monitor the normal and disruption patterns and to allocate resources to different projects when a disrupted pattern occurs.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, methods, and non-transitory media for providing prescient and adaptive point-of-sale services via electronic networks are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a system with one or more servers. The one or more servers may be configured to generate digital consumer tokens and provide the digital consumer tokens to consumer devices for sharing with merchant devices. When a merchant device receives the digital consumer token, the merchant device may forward the digital consumer token to the one or more servers in exchange for consumer data to facilitate consumer service. In some embodiments, the one or more servers may be configured to provide point-of-sale interfaces that adapt to different consumer preferences or consumer device signals. Some embodiments may provide for consumer interfaces that allow consumers to manage their electronic identity at various (e.g., merchant) locations.

Abstract: A financial transaction system includes a governing host having a database for registering parties wishing to perform a financial transaction and processing the financial transaction. A discrete point-of-sale (POS) terminal interfaces with one party wishing to initiate a financial transaction with another party. The discrete POS terminal has a local transaction process providing for initial validating and enforcing of business rules governing the transaction with the one party and generating a transaction key confirming that the transaction is authorised on validating the transaction with the governing host. A facilitator device reads the transaction key on being supplied with same by the one party and communicates with the governing host to complete the transaction using the facilitator POS terminal.

Abstract: An automatic billing updater (ABU) computing device is provided. The ABU computing device receives, from a candidate merchant, a batch update request including a plurality of account identifiers and retrieves a plurality of historical account identifiers from an historical authorization database. Each account identifier of the historical account identifiers is associated with a respective historical transaction of the candidate merchant. The ABU computing device further compares the account identifiers of the batch update request to the historical account identifiers, identifies at least one unrequested account identifier from the historical account identifiers based on the comparison, retrieves unrequested billing data associated with the unrequested account identifier from a billing database that stores updated billing data associated with a plurality of payment accounts, and transmits the unrequested billing data to the candidate merchant.

Abstract: A central or “core” application a fulfillment application at a venue, and a wireless communication application hosted on a computing device, such as a cell phone, of an attendee at an event at that venue communicate via a network. Customers may sign up online, through a various types of web applications or dedicated applications to receive information, such as menus, catalogs, or the like of available products to be at the event. The core application may manage a database of records of customers, products, and fulfilment locations. The core application may send to fulfilment applications hosted by other computers at fulfilment locations instructions to dispatch “runners” to deliver products to seat locations of customers who may order products (e.g., food, merchandise, etc.) over cell phones or other internet-connected wireless computer devices.

Abstract: A system using voice recognition is provided to assist in restocking shelving while simultaneously creating an accurate product-to-location mapping of the overall environment. The creation of such a product-to-location mapping enhances many in-store tasks, such as stocking, picking, and cycle counting. The system allows store based task-management software systems to efficiently direct users to precise locations, to reduce product search time, to improve worker travel paths throughout the store to save time, and to free workers to perform other tasks. Workers use a voice-recognition restocking application to record, via voice-entry, the location where each restocked product is stored. The voice capturing of the product-to-location mapping is conducted over time to provide a seamless and sustainable way to maintain product-to-location store maps.

Abstract: A human resources management system includes an account information storage unit that stores balance information in multiple accounts in which money is pooled and a deposit and withdrawal history of each account. A deposit and withdrawal controlling part updates, on the basis of a reward amount of money to an operation determined between an ordering party and an order receiving party of the operation, information on the balances in an account of the ordering party and an account of the order receiving party and their deposit and withdrawal histories. Information on the balances and the deposit and withdrawal histories of the account is stored in the account information storage unit. An operational performance evaluation unit evaluates an operational performance of an owner of each account in a period on the basis of the deposit and withdrawal history.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for performing a simulation. In one example, a user performing an accrual simulation identifies a plurality of parameters associated with a simulation, where the simulation calculates time account accruals and the plurality of parameters are selected by a user on a user interface (UI) of the simulation. A publish subject is generated for the simulation. The simulation is called with the plurality of parameters and the publish subject, which can include selecting a time account and passing the publish subject through a plurality of processes associated with the selected time account. The simulation, determines whether one or more subscribers subscribe to the publish subject, and in response to determining that one or more subscribers subscribe to the publish subject, generates log information for each process in the plurality of processes.
