Abstract: A stateless cord management device for storage and deployment of a cord, cable, or wire comprises a body having a sidewall with oppositely disposed open ends. A channel is at least partially defined by the sidewall and disposed therethrough between the oppositely disposed open ends. An access opening extends longitudinally along and through the sidewall between the oppositely disposed open ends of the sidewall. The access opening is at least partially defined by cooperatively disposed and abutting free ends of the sidewall, the free ends being at least partially separable from one another permitting access into the channel.

Abstract: An anchoring device for a deck or dock or similar structure comprising an anchoring member, a holding plate, and a fastener. First, the fastener is threaded through the holding plate and ring assembly. Then, the holding plate and fastener is inserted through an opening in the support structure, e.g., a narrow slot between the boards on the deck or patio, and, finally, the fastener is pulled outward in relation to the anchoring member to securely affix the anchoring member and the holding plate against two opposing sides of the support structure.

Abstract: A hinge assembly includes a lever arm and a channel connected to the lever arm. The channel is adapted to be connected to an associated appliance door. A control link is pivotally connected to the lever arm. A slide body includes an inner end connected to the control link. The slide body is adapted for sliding movement in response to pivoting movement of the channel relative to the lever arm between a first (door-closed) position and a second (door-opened) position. A spring resiliently biases the channel toward the first position. A snubber system includes at least one snubber with a piston that is biased to an extended position and moveable to a retracted position against a fluid or other damping resistance during movement of the slide body away when the channel moves from the first position to the second position.

Abstract: A hinge module connected between a first body and a second body of an electronic device is provided. The hinge module includes a hinge connecting the first and the second bodies, a linking rod, and a sleeve pivoted to the second body. The linking rod has a first end connected to the first body and a second end slidably coupled into the sleeve. When the first and the second bodies are rotated by the hinge module, the first body drives the linking rod such that the second end slides in the sleeve and drives the sleeve to rotate relative to the second body. Inner wall of the sleeve has at least one interfering section. When the second end moves onto the interfering section, the linking rod is interfered to the sleeve, such that the first body is supported by the hinge module and opened relative to the second body.

Abstract: A pull clip for the bottom bar of a window shade, the pull clip comprising a pair of arms joined by a bridge portion, the arms flexibly biased toward a rest position when displaced therefrom, at least a portion of the arms releasably receivable within one or more channels on the bottom bar, at least one of the arms or the bridge portion including an engagement member, the engagement member frictionally engaging the bottom bar when the arms are received within the one or more channels to restrain the movement of the pull clip along the one or more channels, the pull clip including a receiver, the receiver facilitating the attachment of a cord or wand to the pull clip.

Abstract: A damping mechanism has a housing body defining a cavity with a central axis, a threaded section disposed with female threads revolving about the central axis and a smooth section; a rotating shaft inserted into the cavity; and a piston, wherein the piston comprises a threaded section disposed with male threads revolving about the central axis and a piston head. The threaded section of the cavity and the threaded section of the piston constitute a screw-on fit relationship between the female and male threads. The piston head is clearance-fitted or seal-fitted with the smooth section of the cavity. An axial hole section of the piston is clearance-fitted or seal-fitted with the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is provided with a radially outwardly-opening and axially-extending oiling slot on the sliding path of the piston head while the depth and/or width of the oiling slot changes gradually.

Abstract: A cable fastener with cable management function is revealed. The cable fastener is a hollow frame formed by two first side walls disposed at an interval along the length direction and two second side walls. The frame has an opening perpendicular to a length direction and two convex bodies arranged symmetrically on inner surfaces of the second side walls. A plurality part of a cable with equal length is respectively mounted into the opening of each cable fastener, passed through the convex bodies and secured in the frame. A plurality of bend points is formed on the cable along the length direction so that the cable is bent into bundles. The cable management and positioning is achieved.

Abstract: A tensioning device for installing tree stands that includes a drive end and a cable output end to attach to a medium that is placed around a tree. The tensioning device creates more tension in the medium than is generally able to be applied by hand with ratchet straps or chains, which provides safer installation of a tree stand or climbing ladder. The tensioning device includes a drive system that can be driven with standard power tools or hand tools to retract a cable. The tensioning device may be designed with or without a clutch feature. The clutch feature allows for a desired cable tension to be reached for each installation and provides feedback to the operator when the correct tension is reached. The tensioning device includes an external bracket or hook for easily attaching to a tree stand or climbing ladder.

Abstract: A quick release device comprises an anchor to couple to a safety helmet and a latch to couple to a tether. The anchor may include a cylindrical wall with an indentation circumferentially located thereon. The latch is configured to be attached to and removed from the anchor and may include a barrel, a plurality of ball bearings, and a push-pull button. The barrel may include a sidewall in which the ball bearings are rigidly retained when the latch is in a locked state and the ball bearings are loosely retained when the latch is in a released state. The push-pull button may cover one end of the barrel and may be pushed to attached the latch to the anchor and pulled to remove the latch from the anchor.

Abstract: To provide a biaxial hinge which enables an opening/closing movement of terminal, such as notebook PC, from 0° up to 180° or more, which ensures the opening/closing movement starting from a stable stopping position available at any opening/closing angle, a second hinge shaft attached to a second casing and a second hinge shaft attached to a second casing are connected to each other via a joint member and provided so as to be rotatable relative to each other, and a selective rotation restricting device is provided between the both hinge shafts. The selective rotation restricting device is so structured that it allows the both hinge shafts to rotate, when the first casing and the second casing are in a closed state, and it restricts one of the first hinge shaft and the second hinge shaft in rotation, when the other hinge shaft rotates relative to the one hinge shaft.

Abstract: The invention provides a fastener stringer for a concealed slide fastener in which right and left fastener tapes respectively include a tape body portion, a tape bend portion bent into a U-shape and an element mounting portion, a hollow weave portion is formed at each fastener tape, and a film body is accommodated in the hollow weave portion in a state of being sewn together with a fastener element as one side edge thereof being located to the tape bend portion side from a sewing thread. Accordingly, since stiffness of the hollow weave portion is improved by the film body, a closely-contacted state between the right and left tape bend portions is stably maintained and concealing characteristics of the concealed slide fastener can be improved.

Abstract: An attachment system for two members includes a primary attachment device and a secondary attachment device for connecting the two members. When damage to the primary attachment device occurs, the secondary attachment device can be used to connect the two members without having to repair the primary attachment device.

Abstract: A magnetic clasp for bracelets or chains is disclosed. The clasp has a male element and a female element adapted to be engaged with one another and each has respective links for securing the elements to respective ends of a chain structure. Each of the elements is cup-shaped and has a cavity for the containment of a magnet adapted to exert a magnetic attraction for stably locking the male and female elements to each other. The clasp also includes a shield made of ferromagnetic material arranged inside the cavities.
