  • Publication number: 20140233719
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and visualizing contact center routing strategies via a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface displays a routing diagram depicting a contact center routing strategy. The routing diagram includes a plurality of blocks each associated with logic for managing an interaction with the contact center. A processor monitors contact center performance as interactions with the contact center are managed according to the routing strategy. The processor identifies one of the plurality of blocks affected by the contact center performance, and further identifies a threshold associated with the identified block. The processor determines whether the contact center performance satisfies the threshold, and modifies a visual appearance of the identified block based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 8798386
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing image data on a per tile basis in an image sensor pipeline (ISP) are disclosed and may include communicating, to one or more processing modules via control logic circuits integrated in the ISP, corresponding configuration parameters that are associated with each of a plurality of data tiles comprising an image. The ISP may be integrated in a video processing core. The plurality of data tiles may vary in size. A processing complete signal may be communicated to the control logic circuits when the processing of each of the data tiles is complete prior to configuring a subsequent processing module. The processing may comprise one or more of: lens shading correction, statistics, distortion correction, demosaicing, denoising, defective pixel correction, color correction, and resizing. Each of the data tiles may overlap with adjacent data tiles, and at least a portion of them may be processed concurrently.

  • Publication number: 20140177819
Abstract: A system and method for composing a routing strategy for a contact center via a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface provides a plurality of selectable blocks and a workspace for assembling selected ones of the plurality of blocks. Each of the plurality of blocks is associated with logic for managing an interaction with the contact center. A processor receives identification of one of the blocks and identification of a location in the workspace area relative to other blocks in the workspace area, and places the identified block in the identified location. The processor generates the routing strategy based on the blocks in the workspace area and location of the blocks relative to each other in the workspace area. The processor also stores a layout of the blocks in the workspace area as a routing diagram for the routing strategy. The processor activates the routing strategy for managing the inbound interaction according to the activated routing strategy.

  • Publication number: 20120323949
Abstract: A determination is made as to whether a data type associated with a received logical table definition associated with a database query within a distributed database system differs from a data type associated with a local logical table definition. A data conversion is performed on data retrieved from a locally-stored physical table referenced by the local logical table definition in response to determining that the data types differ. Local data conversion information is created identifying the data conversion performed on the retrieved data in response to performing the data conversion. At least one of the retrieved data and the converted data with the created local data conversion information is forwarded to at least one of a distributed database node and an application-level module.

  • Publication number: 20110279702
Abstract: A method and system are provided in which color channel information may be stored in a multimedia processor. The color channel information may comprise information for each of the color filter positions in a color filter pattern. The color channel information may be stored in a plurality of registers, wherein each register may correspond to a color channel. The color channel information may be dynamically stored in the multimedia processor. Based on the color channel information, a color channel may be assigned to each color filter position. The color channel assigned to a color filter position may be one of red, green, blue, white, cyan, yellow, and/or magenta. When an indication of the color filter pattern is received, the assignment may be based on both the color channel information and the received indication. Pixel values associated with the color filter pattern may be processed based on the color channel assignment.

  • Publication number: 20090269753
Abstract: Osteoporosis is a common skeletal disease characterized by loss of bone mineral density (BMD) and increased risk of fracture. Osteoporosis most commonly occurs in postmenopausal women due to estrogen deficiency. We identified 3 genetic variants in steroid receptor coactivator 1 (SRC-1) that are significantly associated with a decrease in BMD in women. We characterized a functional variant in exon 18 of SRC-1 that is associated with increased loss of bone mineral density in women who received tamoxifen for treatment or prevention of breast cancer. In vitro experiments show that this variant decreases estrogen receptor alpha response (ER-alpha) to hormone, suggesting an attenuated response to endogenous and exogenous hormones in the bone of these women, and therefore a need for additional bone protective measures.

  • Patent number: 7445403
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid barrier assembly (1) comprising at least two barriers (2,3) each comprising a substantially rigid container and a front wall (5) against which liquid is intended to be incident. Adjacent barriers (2,3) are linked by a connector (12) which comprises a first relatively rigid portion (13) and a second relatively deformable portion (15). The portions (13, 15) are received in respective recesses defined in neighbouring side walls of adjacent barriers (2,3). The second portion (15) is deformed upon juxtaposition of adjacent barriers (2,3) in a predetermined manner so as to form an effective water-tight seal between the barriers (2,3).
