When the cooling apparatus is attached to a surface of the cabinet, the exterior surface is maintained in a spaced-apart relationship from the cabinet, forming an enclosed channel having a pair of openings, one of the openings being located above the other. In such a manner, the cooling apparatus can be added to cool an existing, installed, in-place cabinet without requiring extensive modification to the existing cabinet.
