  • Patent number: 11954075
Abstract: A system including: a transceiver; a boot processor configured to: capture an image of a container of the system, determine whether the system container image has been modified, and post, to a node of a distributed ledger network, a first attestation based on a determination of whether an anomaly exists in the system container image; a system processor; and a memory storing instructions that instruct the system processor to: receive a request to connect to an external device, request a second attestation from a node of the distributed ledger network as to whether an anomaly exists in the external device container image, determine whether an anomaly exists in the external device container image, and either: establish, in response to determining that an anomaly does not exist, a connection with the external device, or deny the request to connect to the external device in response to determining that an anomaly exists.

  • Patent number: 11947701
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for preventing software applications from gaining access to unauthorized biometric data in accordance with user preferences. In some embodiments, a software application requests access to sensor data collected by a sensor installed on a user device via a gateway application installed on the user device. Upon receipt of the request, the gateway application determines what types of biometric data the software application is authorized to obtain within the sensor data. The gateway application then identifies biometric data that is present within the sensor data. The sensor data is then altered such that biometric data that the software application is not authorized to obtain is obfuscated. Once the sensor data has been altered, the software application is provided access to that altered sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20240107497
Abstract: Systems and methods discussed herein are directed to monitoring and/or adjusting levels of ambient radio frequency (RF) signals within a wireless communication network. A geographic region is monitored for ambient radio frequency signal levels. The monitoring may be performed by a device configured for operation in the wireless communication network. For example, one or more of a UE, a base station, an IoT device, etc., may be configured with a sensor for sensing ambient RF signal levels. When it is determined that a measured amount of ambient radio frequency signal level exceeds a predetermined threshold, an operator of the wireless communication network may then provide an alert to at least one user of the wireless communication network.

  • Patent number: 11931127
Abstract: The disclosed system enables monitoring of user's biological indicators for signs of impairment or disease. The system obtains a permission from a user to access a biological indicator. The system obtains a history of the biological indicator associated with the user, where the biological indicator includes movement associated with the user, a voice associated with the user, or an appearance associated with the user. The system obtains a symptom indicating an undesirable state of the user, where the symptom includes a musculoskeletal affliction. The system monitors the biological indicator of user. The system detects an anomaly in the biological indicator by comparing the biological indicator with the history of the biological indicator. The system determines whether the anomaly indicates the undesirable state of the user. Upon determining that the anomaly indicates the undesirable state of the user, the system provides a notification.

  • Publication number: 20230315550
Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a wireless network controller authenticates a wireless receiver and transfers receiver instructions and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for wireless network slices to the wireless receiver. An item wirelessly transmits a network identifier (ID) and a product ID. The wireless receiver wirelessly detects the network ID and the product ID from the item at a geographic location. The receiver selects an API for a wireless network slice based on the receiver instructions and the network ID. The receiver transfers an API call to the wireless network slice. The wireless network slice selects a distributed Application (dAPP) based on the network ID, the product ID, and/or the geographic location for the item. The wireless network slice transfers the network ID, the product ID, and the geographic location for the item to selected dAPP.

  • Publication number: 20230275803
Abstract: An improved core network that includes a network resilience system that can detect network function virtualization (NFV)-implemented nodes that have been compromised and/or that are no longer operational, remove such nodes from the virtual network environment, and restart the removed nodes in a last-known good state is described herein. For example, the network resilience system can use health status messages provided by nodes, intrusion data provided by intrusion detection agents running on nodes, and/or operational data provided by the nodes as applied to machine learning models to identify nodes that may be compromised and/or non-operational. Once identified, the network resilience system can delete these nodes and restart or restore the nodes using the last-known good state.

  • Patent number: 11743433
Abstract: An automation hub may automatically identify the arrival of a package to a location and provide a notification of the delivery to a user. A package authenticator may be generated via the automation hub at the location for embedment in a packaging of a product that is being ordered from a merchant for delivery to the location. Subsequently, the package authenticator may be associated with a pending delivery of the product at the location in response to receiving an indication that the package authenticator is submitted to the merchant via an order. The presence of an arrived package authenticator may be detected in proximity of the location via a sensor that is connected to the automation hub. A notification of arrival for the product may be generated for presentation on connected user devices in response to the arrived package authenticator matching the package authenticator.

  • Patent number: 11722492
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for protecting a plurality of electronic devices via a control server. The control server, for example, can receive one or more indications that a first electronic device is considered malicious and add it to a security threat list. Then the control server can communicate the security threat list to others of the electronic devices, networked for communication with each other, such that the other electronic devices reject all communication from any device listed on the security threat list. Next, upon receiving indication from an approved security patch-providing source that a security patch has been applied to the first electronic device, the control server can remove the first electronic device from the security threat list and communicate the updated security threat list to the other electronic devices indicating that it is safe for these electronic devices to again receive communication from the first electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11716599
Abstract: A method for dynamically provisioning virtual subscriber identity modules (SIMS) to enable a user equipment (UE) to use a service from a service provider. The method can include a UE transmitting a user request to a virtual SIM marketplace. The virtual SIM marketplace can receive a plurality of service offers from a plurality of service providers. The virtual SIM marketplace can match details in the user request with offers made by the plurality of service providers. When a match is found, the virtual SIM marketplace can send user information from the user request to the matching provider. The provider can then send a SIM over-the-air (OTA) message to the UE. The UE can use the SIM-OTA message to enable the UE to provide a user device service on the provider's network.
