  • Publication number: 20190102787
Abstract: Systems and method for providing staggered offers to a group of users are discussed herein. The system can receive an offer from a partner, which can include a maximum distribution rate (MDR) or a desired time over which the offer will run. Based on the MDR or the desired time, the group of users can be divided into an appropriate number of subgroups, with each subgroup receiving the offer during their respective time period. The system can enable users to receive, claim and redeem offers via a variety of user equipment (UE). Once claimed, an offer can be placed in an electronic prize wallet stored on the UE. The prize wallet can include offers that have been claimed, as well as details to enable the user to redeem the offer with the respective partner.

  • Patent number: 9974047
Abstract: When a user of a mobile device attempts to use an application having high data demands, the mobile device queries its cellular data provider to determine currently available data transfer rates, based on the geographic location of the mobile device and the demands on the cellular base station from which the mobile device is being served. If the base station is experiencing data congestion, which is likely to result in a less than optimum user experience, the mobile device displays a warning to the user suggesting that the user postpone usage of the application or try using the application in a different geographic location that is experiencing less congestion.

  • Patent number: 9615201
Abstract: A system is described herein that includes mobile communication devices and a cellular base station to communicate with a telecommunication network. The mobile communication devices access telephony service through the cellular base station when inside a geofence. The mobile communication devices determine whether they are inside the geofence based on distances from proximity beacons. When outside of the geofence, the mobile communication devices are prevented from accessing telephony service through the cellular base station. When inside the geofence, the mobile communication devices may access telephony service through the cellular base station. The mobile communication devices may only make and receive calls from mobile communication devices of a specific other system. When a call is received at the system, the mobile communication devices of the system are rung. To enable this, a serving call session control function of the telecommunication network forks a call directed to the system.
