    Abstract: A cooling apparatus includes a cold plate including a lower surface to be in contact with a heat-radiating component, and a first coolant passage in which a coolant flows, a radiator including fins to perform cooling and pipes each defining a second coolant passage in communication with the first coolant passage, a pump to circulate the coolant, a first tank joined to one end of each of the pipes, and a second tank to join another end of each of the pipes to the pump. The radiator is provided on the cold plate, and the pump is adjacent to the second tank.

    Abstract: An apparatus for producing a spun yarn comprising drafting units, delivery rollers and spinning devices disposed between the front rollers of each drafting unit and the corresponding delivery rollers. The spinning device guides a sliver drafter by the drafting unit along a substantially straight line and blows air against the running sliver so that some of the component fibers in the circumference of the sliver are fluffed out and caused to wind around the fibers forming the core of the sliver, and the circumferential speed of the delivery rollers is set to be equal to or higher than that of the front rollers.

The casing has a guide path formed therein for introducing and guiding a sliver from the front roller to the entrance of the rotary pipe and guide path has a dam member disposed therein for introducing a sliver of a substantially flattened configuration forwarded from the front roller.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a device for removing short fibers from a mass of ibers. A pair of perforated cylindrical bodies are opposed to each other with a predetermined spacing defined therebetween, and static electricity is applied across the perforated cylindrical bodies. A suction-wise removing device is installed in at least one of the perforated cylindrical bodies. The initial end of a transfer conveyor is located on the surface of one perforated cylindrical body adjacent the opposed region. Short fibers contained in the mass of fibers fed to the opposed region by a feeding device are drawn into the suction-wise removing devices through the through holes in the cylindrical bodies by the action of electrostatic force and suction air currents. The mass of fibers having the short fibers removed therefrom are oriented by electrostatic force and transferred by the conveyor while being maintained in this oriented state.
