  • Publication number: 20220311736
Abstract: In the operation state of the communication apparatus being the power-saving state, the communication apparatus receives a request signal from an external device, switches the operation state of the communication apparatus from the power-saving state to the normal state in response to the request signal including the source IP address being a global IP address, and performs a predetermined process in response to the operation state of the communication apparatus being switched from the power-saving state to the normal state. The predetermined process is not performed in the operation state of the communication apparatus being the power-saving state. In response to the request signal including the source IP address not being a global IP address, the communication apparatus transmits a first response signal to the request signal to the external device without switching the operation state of the communication apparatus from the power-saving state to the normal state.
