    Abstract: A plurality of projections for projection welding are formed respectively on the opposite sides of a connector. The electrode plate of the sealing member of one of two adjacent cells is bonded and connected by projection welding to a side of the connector by way of the projections, while the cell case of the other cell is bonded and connected by projection welding to the other side of the connector by way of the projections. In this way, a plurality of cells are connected in series.
