  • Publication number: 20100251680
Abstract: The present invention improves a method of bonding by welding a plurality of filter units each having a frame body made of a resin member so as to provide a filter unit panel having excellent pressure resistance. This filter unit panel is obtained by disposing a plurality of filter units so that the outer peripheral surfaces of adjacent filter units (100a) and (100b) are partially in contact with each other but at least a part of the upper surfaces (11) and/or the lower surfaces (12) of the adjacent filter units are spaced apart from each other, and then melting a bonding resin so as to cause the melted bonding resin to flow into a gap (15) between the spaced upper surfaces and/or a gap (15) between the spaced lower surfaces and to cure. The bonding resin is supplied from, for example, protruding portions (10a) and (10b) of the frame body. This welding method increases the bonding strength between the filter units and increases the pressure resistance thereof accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20100251679
Abstract: Provided is a filter unit in which an increase in pressure loss is suppressed despite the use of an injection-molded resin as a frame. This filter unit includes a pleated filter medium 1 and a frame 2 for supporting the filter medium 1. The frame 2 has inner and outer peripheries, each of which is rectangular in shape when viewed along an air flow path through the filter medium 1. In this filter unit, the filter medium 1 is fixed to the frame 2 with a peripheral portion of the filter medium 1 being embedded inside the frame 2. The pleated filter medium 1 has a value DIP of 0.25 or less. This value DIP is obtained by dividing the distance D between adjacent ridges of the pleats of the filter medium 1 by the height P of the pleats. The distance D has a minimum value d of at least 1 mm. The frame 2 has a length La longer than a length Lm.

  • Publication number: 20100243887
Abstract: A mass spectrometer that allows easy replacement of an MCP (microchannel plate) and is enabled to secure orthogonality between an incident surface of the MCP and an ion track at high accuracy is provided. A flight tube 2 where ions fly is arranged in a vacuum vessel composed of a vacuum flange 6 and a body 1, and an MCP group 4 is attached to a tail end of the flight tube 2 via an MCP-IN electrode 3. A vacuum flange 6 is attachably and detachably attached to the body 1, and the MCP group 4, by a spring 710 provided on a circuit board 7 for detection attached to the vacuum flange 6, is urged toward an end portion of the flight tube 2 so that its orthogonality with respect to an ion flight track is secured.

  • Publication number: 20100236203
Abstract: The present invention provides a filter unit panel in which the generation of an organic gas derived from an adhesive can be suppressed although a plurality of filter units each having a frame body made of a resin member and an outer frame that surrounds these units are used together. This filter unit panel includes a plurality of filter units (100) and an outer frame (10) that surrounds these units. Each of the plurality of filter units includes a pleated filter medium and a frame body that supports the filter medium. Both of the outer frame (10) and the frame body are resin members. The filter units (100) are integrated into a single unit by welding their frame bodies adjacent to each other, and the outer frame and the frame bodies are integrated with each other by welding.

  • Publication number: 20100225221
Abstract: An electron multiplier that can easily obtain characteristics according to a purpose is provided. By bonding a marginal portion 23 of an MCP 2 and a marginal portion 33 of an MCP 3 to each other via a conductive spacer layer 7, a gap 12 is formed between channel portions 22, 32. Therefore, when the electron multiplier is used for a purpose that requires a particularly high gain, by adjusting the thickness of the spacer layer 7, the gain can be increased by increasing the gap 12. In addition, when the electron multiplier is used for a purpose that requires an increase in gain as well as time characteristics, by adjusting the thickness of the spacer layer 7, the size of the gap 12 can be adjusted so that desired characteristics are obtained. Consequently, by only adjusting the thickness of the spacer layer 7, characteristics according to the purpose can be easily obtained.

  • Patent number: 7753981
Abstract: The present invention provides filter units that, when joined together, allow joining portions thereof to be fixed together satisfactorily and can prevent air from leaking at the joining portions. A filter unit includes a filter medium that has been pleated and a frame that supports the circumference of the filter medium. The frame has a protruding part on at least one face selected from an upper face and a lower face thereof, with the protruding part being formed by allowing a part of the at least one face to protrude. The upper face is a surface of the frame that faces the upstream side relative to the flow of air that passes through the filter medium, and the lower face is a surface of the frame that faces the downstream side relative to the flow of air.

  • Publication number: 20090231625
Abstract: A sending apparatus transmits a call to a receiving apparatus to send image data. If a response from the receiving apparatus to the call indicates that the receiving apparatus is in a non-receivable status, the sending apparatus secures a communication channel for sending the image data to the receiving apparatus until the receiving apparatus sends a notification that the receiving apparatus has shifted to a receivable status. A receiving apparatus notifies a sending apparatus of a non-receivable status, when the receiving apparatus receives a call to send image data from the sending apparatus while it is in the non-receivable status.

  • Patent number: 7564043
Abstract: The present invention relates to an MCP unit or the like having a structure intended to achieve a desired time response characteristic, without depending on a limitation imposed by a channel diameter of MCP. The MCP unit comprises the MCP for releasing secondary electrons internally multiplied in response to incidence of charged particles, an anode arranged in a position where the secondary electrons reach, and an acceleration electrode arranged between the MCP and the anode. In particular, the acceleration electrode includes a plurality of openings which permit passing of the secondary electrons migrating from the MCP toward the anode. Further, the acceleration electrode is arranged such that the shortest distance B between the acceleration electrode and the anode is longer than the shortest distance A between the MCP and the acceleration electrode. Thus, an FWHM of a detected peak appearing in response to the incidence of the charged particles is remarkably shortened.
