  • Publication number: 20240113838
Abstract: Uplink control channel group and cross-carrier scheduling is disclosed for cooperative communications of a virtual UE. In an aspect, a UE reports a cooperative configuration with member UEs of a virtual UE and reports associations between a plurality of component carriers (CCs) allocated to a cell group and each member UE of the virtual UE. The UE may then receive an uplink control transmission configuration message dividing each member UE into an assigned uplink control transmission group and assign one or more component CCs into one or more CC sets, wherein each CC set is assigned to each uplink control transmission group. The UE may receive an uplink scheduling message from a serving base station, wherein the uplink scheduling message includes an uplink schedule for CCs within the CC set assigned to an uplink control transmission group associated with the UE. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 11950191
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for performing sidelink communications. For instance, a first client device can determine a first transmit power parameter for transmitting sidelink communications. The first transmit power parameter can either be received from a base station associated with the first client device or it can be a default parameter based on the first client device not being associated with a base station. The first client device can transmit, to a second client device, a first sidelink transmission having a first power level corresponding to the first transmit power parameter. The first client device can receive, from the second client device, a first sidelink reception having a second power level corresponding to a second transmit power parameter.

  • Publication number: 20240106582
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for dynamic carrier sharing at a radio unit (RU) by multiple operators. Multiple operators may coordinate regarding resource separation such that wireless resources associated with the shared carrier may be split between the operators using, for example, time-division multiplexing, frequency-division multiplexing, and/or spatial-division multiplexing. Signal transmissions to and from the RU, using a carrier that supports multiple operators, may be based on a separation between certain physical layer (PHY) transmissions, where some PHY transmissions to or from the RU may be common for the multiple operators, and other PHY transmissions may use different sets of resources that are respectively associated with the different operators.

  • Patent number: 11937297
Abstract: Improvements to asynchronous spatial listen before talk (LBT) procedures are disclosed. In a shared spectrum network spatial LBT procedures are used for directionally targeting the channel reservation process. Prior to transmitting channel reservation signaling, the transmitter and receiver determine an effective interference considering available multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) configuration information. When the effective interference exceeds a predefined threshold, the node may without transmission of its channel reservation signal. Otherwise, when the effective interference remains within the threshold, each node's transmitted channel reservation signal may also identify at least a beamforming matrix either as payload or used to precode the node's channel reservation signal.
