  • Patent number: 9554107
Abstract: A method and apparatus for recording a composite image from a lens array are disclosed. A first composite image is recorded using a first lens providing imaging data in a first color, a second lens providing imaging data in a second color, and a third lens providing imaging data in a third color, wherein the first, second, and third colors are different colors. A second composite image is recorded using the first lens, a fourth lens providing imaging data in the second color, and a fifth lens providing imaging data in the third color. The first and second composite images are compared to identify color fringed areas. Based on the relative size and location of the color fringed areas in the first and second composite images, a de-fringing algorithm is applied to at least one of the composite images to mitigate the color fringing in the color fringed areas.

  • Publication number: 20070163737
Abstract: A porous, starch-based pigment and filler product, which comprises a foam, which contains foam bubbles, the average size of which is less than approximately 10 micrometres, and a method of manufacturing it. From the starch, microporous foam can be prepared, which can be stabilized to microcapsules. By means of a suitable choice of the inner diameter and the wall thickness of these capsules the light scattering ability of the material is maximized, which means that the structure has good opacity properties. Good strength properties in relation to the capsule mass is also characteristic of the micro capsule structure.

  • Publication number: 20020060014
Abstract: Raw material, energy and waste management are arranged in a production plant manufacturing pulp, paper, or board or a combination thereof from recycled fibres which is advantageously placed in the middle of a residential community or in its immediate vicinity. The plant has equipment for the manufacture of pulp and/or paper and/or board as well as equipment for the production of energy for at least the production plant's own needs. The production plant uses as fibre raw material waste paper and/or board generated by the residential community and as the source of energy combustible waste generated by the residential community. Moreover, it utilizes as far as possible waste fractions which are produced as by-products in production processes and which contain raw materials and energy either as raw material or as energy or, alternatively, these fractions are supplied outside the production plant for useful use.

  • Patent number: 4511433
Abstract: A method for delignifying ligno-cellulosic materials and efficiently separate from each other the constituents thereof. Said materials are heated in an aqueous acid medium in the presence of phenol compounds. Then the reaction medium is drained and washed for isolating the purified solid cellulose pulp, the liquid phase separating into two layers: an aqueous layer rich with pentoses and an organic layer rich with phenols and lignin, the latter providing, by distillation and pyrolysis of the residue, a quantity of phenols at least equal to that of the phenols used in the delignification stage.
