The tray has a base wall, a peripheral side wall, an open top and a hollow interior. The wallet is located within the tray's interior. The housing is similarly constructed, except that its side wall includes a gap. The tray is arranged to be located within the housing, with its sidewall adjacent the housing's sidewall and with its open top within the housing's open top so that the wallet is visible. The tray is arranged to be slid out of the housing through the gap. A pair of magnets are provided for releasably holding the tray within the housing. The housing can be reversibly disposed with respect to the tray to form a lid with the base wall of the housing closing the open top of the tray.

The assembly comprises a shipping container in which a fixture and the articles of merchandise are located. The shipping container includes an outer carton and an inner compartment. The fixture is located within the inner compartment and includes an elongated display member and a bracket. The elongated display member supports the articles of merchandise. The shipping container includes a portion that can be opened to provide access to the bracket to enable the bracket to be connected to the elongated display member while that member is still within the shipping container. The fixture and the shipping carton can then be mounted on any vertically oriented structural member, whereupon the shipping container can be removed leaving the fixture in place with the merchandise suspended from it.

Abstract: A fixture and method of use for supporting merchandise on a vertical surface. The fixture includes a bracket and an elongated display member having a pair of ends. The bracket includes a section for snap connection to either end of the display member and a connector that is configured to engage one of various types of support structures mounted on the vertical surface. Those support structures are a conventional slotted upright, a wire rack, a slat wall and a peg board. The display member include merchandise holders, e.g., prong hangers, for holding the merchandise thereon, e.g., suspending the merchandise therefrom.

Abstract: A display package for holding a wrist-watch and a wallet or billfold. The package is formed of a generally planar strip of foldable material having a first and second fold lines forming a front panel, a rear panel, and an intermediate panel. The panels are disposed with respect to each other and foldable along respective fold lines to form an interior space into which the wallet/billfold can be inserted. The rear panel includes a pair of openings through which the band of the wrist-watch can be extended to surround the package with the wallet/billfold therein. At least one of the front and rear panels includes advertising indicia and the front panel includes an opening to suspend the display package.

The carrier assembly is arranged to be used with other such assemblies, each holding an article (e.g., a garment belt), by an automatic dispensing machine to select the carrier assembly from other similar carrier assemblies and to dispense the selected carrier assembly therefrom based on the scanner readable indicia. The automatic dispensing machine includes a scanner for scanning the scanner-readable indicia. The bag is adapted to hold the garment belt in a compact, e.g., coiled, configuration therein. A plurality of hang tags for suspending the articles from the prong members have the same color as the associated style color of the given prong member, for matching the hang tag with a respective prong member. The style colors of the first indicia is used to distinguish by style, origin or price. Each of the hang tags further include a second indicium associated therewith, represented by an associated size color to distinguish the articles by size, each size having a distinctive associated size color. Accordingly, the two indicium of colors are used to segregate the articles on the rack by both style and size.

The rack assembly comprises a core frame unit, plural leg frame panels, and plural releasable connectors. The core frame unit has plural, e.g., four, side-wall panels, each of which is a planar grid of intersecting horizontal and vertical elongated rods. The side-wall panels of the core unit are fixedly secured to each other at respective corners of the core frame unit. Each of the plural frame panels is a generally rectangular, planar grid of intersecting horizontal and vertical elongated rods having at least one side edge. The releasable connectors each comprise a first connector element and a second connector element. Each of the leg frame panels has two of one of the connector elements fixedly secured to it. Each of the corners of the core frame unit has two of the other of the connector elements fixedly secured to it.

Abstract: A packaging system and method of packaging for a foldable wallet or billfold to enable the wallet or billfold to be opened and examined while deterring the wallet or billfold from being removed from the packaging system. The wallet or billfold has a fold line about which the wallet or billfold is arranged to be folded shut, and an opening in a portion of the wallet or billfold contiguous with the fold line. The packaging system comprising a box and a strip, e.g., band, member. The strip member is an elongated flexible member formed of a tear resistant material, e.g., a flat strip of plastic. The box has a base portion with peripheral side walls forming a hollow interior into which the wallet or billfold is disposed. The strip member is arranged to be extended through the opening in the wallet and overlying the fold line while being permanently secured to at least one of said sidewalls of the base portion. Thus, the wallet is not susceptible to removal without destroying the package.

Abstract: A suspender display fixture comprising a supporting bar and a plurality of rods supported by and projecting horizontal from said bar. Each rod has indicia associated therewith, with said indicia comprising a number. A plurality of hang tags for suspending suspenders from the rods are provided, with each hang tag having a pair of suspenders placed thereon. Indicia are associated with each pair of suspenders, with said indicia bearing a number. The number on the suspenders is the same as the number associated with the rod from which the suspenders are suspended. The number coding system permits segregation of the suspenders by color, style or material from which they are made. This invention further encompasses a suspender display fixture comprising a plurality of horizontal bars and a plurality of parallel rods secured to and projecting horizontally outwardly from said bars.

Abstract: A belt fixture comprising a frame supporting plural racks therefrom. Each of the racks is arranged for displaying and vending plural belts of a respective style, with belts of each of the styles being in plural groups of different sizes, and with the number of belts in each group being directly proportional to the popularity of belts of that size. Each of the racks comprising a pair of elongated, spaced-apart rods, and a plurality of elongated prongs projecting perpendicularly thereto. Each rack is supported from the frame by respective threaded fasteners extend between the rods. Each of the projecting prongs is arranged to suspend a respective group of belts therefrom and is of a length directly proportional to the number of belts in the group so that when that group of belts is suspended from the rod the rod appears full. A slidable, color coded strip is mounted on each rack to indicate the style of belts on that rack and the size(s) of the belts of the group suspended by the various prongs of that rack.
