Abstract: Provided herein are sequences of the genomes and encoded proteins of a new human parvovirus, Humink parvovirus, and variants thereof. Also provided are methods of detecting the Humink parvovirus and diagnosing Humink parvovirus infection, methods of treating or preventing Humink parvovirus infection, and methods for identifying anti-Humink parvovirus compounds.

Abstract: Provided herein are sequences of the genomes and encoded proteins of new astrovirus species, and variants thereof. Also provided are methods of detecting the new astrovirus species and diagnosing astrovirus infection, methods of treating or preventing astrovirus infection, and methods for identifying anti-astrovirus compounds. Provided are two new astrovirus species named HMOAstV-A and HMOAstV-B, and both are distantly related to known astroviruses. Also provided is a new method of classifying astroviruses, where there are three groups of human astroviruses, including HAstV, AstV-MLB, and HMOAstV.

Abstract: A public key infrastructure comprises a client side to request and utilize certificates in communication across a network and a server side to administer issuance and maintenance of said certificates. The server side has a portal to receive requests for a certificate from a client. A first policy engine to processes such requests in accordance with a set of predefined protocols. A certification authority is also provided to generate certificates upon receipt of a request from the portal. The CA has a second policy engine to implement a set of predefined policies in the generation of a certificate. Each of the policy engines includes at least one policy configured as a software component e.g. a Java bean, to perform the discreet functions associated with the policy and generate notification in response to a change in state upon completion of the policy.

Abstract: The information related to a journal entry is gathered in a predefined format and a journal entry request is generated. The journal entry request is processed and the journal entry is recorded in a journal. Each individual associated with the journal entry request is automatically notified about any change in status of the journal entry request.

Abstract: A framework for supporting stretchers and method of assembling includes a sub-frame having an adjustable length header bar assembly and adjustable height outer frame legs connected to opposing ends of the header bar assembly. A secondary stretcher support is positioned laterally interior of and parallel with each outer frame leg, each of the secondary stretcher support and outer frame leg including stretcher holders. Interframe connectors are transversely positioned between pairs of sub-frames and pairs of secondary stretcher supports. Stretcher handles seat in the stretcher holder and the secondary stretcher support. The framework is configured to fit within varying dimensions of a mass transit vehicle and can be a component of a vehicle conversion kit. The kit can further include tools for assembling the framework, assembly instructions, and a crate for storing and transporting at least the framework, supports, tools, and assembly instructions.
