  • Publication number: 20240330545
Abstract: A method for training mobile robots in virtual environment involves operating a virtual environment generation system configured to render a virtual environment comprising a course and obstacles. The method operates as a virtual robot in the virtual environment and a training interface with a training layer to adjust the complexity of the course and types and quantity of the obstacles. The method determines a navigation score for the virtual robot. The method logs frames from the sensor channels of the virtual robot while navigating through the course and the obstacles and communicates logged frames to a machine learning pipeline that applies at least one filter to the logged frames to generate training frames for a machine learning model. The method retrains the machine learning model with the training frames to generate a model update and applies the model update to the classification model and generates a new virtual robot version.

  • Publication number: 20240319738
Abstract: A system and method for animating and displaying images via a mobile robot. The mobile robot includes a screen and a processor wherein the processor executes computer readable commands, thereby displaying animations onto the screen. The method includes the steps of creating animations as GIF files, converting images into code, optimizing frame sequence, translating optimized frames into a C programming data structure, and displaying the optimized frames onto the screen of the mobile robot.

  • Publication number: 20240265681
Abstract: A system and method involves detecting a trigger event during operation of an autonomous ground vehicle traveling between two physical locations; generating event sequence data from primary sensor data, secondary sensor data, spatiotemporal data, and telemetry data through operation of a reporter; communicating the event sequence data to cloud storage and raw data to a streaming database; transforming the raw data into normalized data stored in a relational database through operation of a normalizer; operating a curation system to identify true trigger events from the normalized data and extract training data by way of a discriminator; operating a machine learning model within an active learning pipeline to generate a model update from aggregate training data generated from the training data by an aggregator; and reconfiguring the navigational control system with the model update communicated from the active learning pipeline to the autonomous ground vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240264603
Abstract: The assisted navigation system is intended to enable an assisted operation mode in ground mobile robots. The system is designed to achieve an autonomous relocation of a robot from one location to another location within a sidewalk, minimizing the need for constant human intervention. The system includes a camera for collecting the visual data needed to assess the terrain and potential obstacles, a collection of sensors to detect potential obstacles during assisted operations, a communication module to receive inputs from a remote operator to enable the activation of this system, a localization module for teleoperations, a local server module to store the information gathered, a processor configured to operate a robot in an assisted mode of operation based on input from the communication interface in which the robot performs a task without human intervention, and a communication interface coupled to the processor and configured to communicate control values to the systems of the mobile robot.

  • Publication number: 20240219200
Abstract: A system and method for mapping and routing robotic pathways, utilizing a mobile robot having data gathering capabilities and a method for gathering, calculating, analyzing, and processing data to generate robot accessible traversable maps. The data gathering module, comprising a plurality of sensors, utilizes a mapping software to collect a series of nodes and paths between said nodes, recording pertinent data regarding said nodes and pathways. The process iterates until a comprehensive map is generated composed of a plurality of nodes and pathways. Once generated, the comprehensive map is saved, either locally or onto a cloud network.
