  • Patent number: 8370029
Abstract: For the purpose of detecting a jam during the adjustment of a component of a motor vehicle using an adjustment drive, wherein measured values related to the adjustment force (F) are compared to a threshold value (FREF) and when the threshold value is reached, the adjusting movement is slowed or stopped, and optionally reversed, it is proposed that the component speed or a parameter correlated therewith is detected and the threshold value (FREF) modified accordingly.

    Assignee: Continental Automotive GmbH
Inventors: Andreas Egger, Roman Morawek, Peter Stephan Mulacz
  • Publication number: 20120112677
Abstract: To detect an entrapment situation when a driven component is adjusted using a mechanical adjustment system which has an electric motor (2), a value (Fakt) relating to the force acting upon the driven component is compared with a threshold value (FTh) relating to a reference value (FRef). The reference value (FRef), and thus the threshold value (FTh), are continuously matched, for the purpose of force tracking, with the force value which changes during the movement of adjustment depending on the mechanical system.

  • Publication number: 20110046856
Abstract: In a computer-aided detection of the jamming of an object, wherein, when adjusting a component of a motor vehicle using an adjusting drive (6), measurement values related to the adjusting force (F) are compared to a prescribed threshold value (FR), initiating a slowdown, stop, or reversing of the adjusting motion when said value is reached. A spring rate correcting term characterizing the rigidity of the object is determined for correcting the relationship between the adjusting force (F) and the threshold value (FR), and is considered in the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20100201350
Abstract: A device (10) for the detection of quadrature signals of a signal unit (11; 21) has a common power supply line (VBATT_ A & B) and a common ground wire (GND), and emits at least two out-of-phase square wave signals (IA, IB; IS, ID) during operation for analyzing the same in an analysis unit (16), wherein both out-of-phase square wave signals (IA, IB; IS, ID) are applied to the common power supply line (VBATT _A & B) at different amplitudes, wherein the two out-of-phase square wave signals (IA, IB; IS, ID) are modulated onto the supply current (I0)), and wherein the analysis unit (16) is or can be connected to the power supply line.

  • Patent number: 7614353
Abstract: A sowing device having a travelling framework (2) is described, which comprises a storage roll (3) for a seed strip (4) equipped with individual grains (5) of a seed, and an unwinding unit (6) for the seed strip (4) drivable as a function of the travel distance. To ensure a precise deposit of the seed grains (5), it is suggested that a sensor (15) for the individual grains (5) in the seed strip (4) be provided in the area of the seed strip section (14) between the unwinding unit (6) and a ground-proximal deflection roll (8), and a control unit (16), connected on one hand to the sensor (15) and on the other hand to a travel distance encoder (18), activate the drive (17) of the unwinding unit (6) as a function of the difference between the actual location of the seed grains (5) detected by the sensor (15) and a setpoint location predefinable with the aid of the travel distance encoder (18).
