Patent number: 8700905Abstract: A method and apparatus for encrypting an electronic document involves a computer having a first monitor and a signature capture apparatus configured to capture a handwritten signature on a second monitor. A hash sum of the electronic document generated in the computer is transmitted to the signature capture apparatus. The electronic document and the first hash sum thereof are displayed on the first monitor. The first hash sum is also displayed on the second monitor. After electronically capturing the handwritten signature, the signature data are encrypted using the first hash sum. A digital signature image is generated in the signature capture apparatus and the first hash sum is embedded therein. The embedded first hash sum is then extracted in the computer. If the extracted hash sum is identical to the first hash sum generated in the computer apparatus, the encrypted signature data and the signed document are stored.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2009Date of Patent: April 15, 2014Assignee: StepOver GmbHInventor: Andreas Guenther

Patent number: 8612769Abstract: An electronic signature method uses a signature generation unit with a memory that is spatially separated from a data processing device. At least one biometric trait of a person who will electronically sign an electronic dataset is captured, and an electronic biometric dataset is generated based thereon. The biometric dataset is encrypted using a randomly generated value. Subsequently, the encrypted biometric dataset is transmitted to the data processing device, a first checksum is generated in the data processing device for the encrypted biometric dataset and the electronic dataset, and the first checksum is transmitted from the data processing device to the signature generation unit. The random value is encrypted using the first checksum, and the encryption result is further encrypted using the stored key. The result of this is then transmitted to the data processing device.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2011Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Stepover GmbHInventor: Andreas Guenther

Publication number: 20120251998Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for blood treatment in a single-needle operating mode. The blood treatment device has an extracorporeal blood circuit comprising a blood supply line leading to the inlet of a blood treatment unit and a blood return line leading away from the outlet of the blood treatment unit. Blood collecting means, for example a blood collecting container, is provided in the blood return line, said means being connected to means for storing gas, for example an air reservoir, by a flow line. The flow connection comprises two line branches, one branch being used to transfer gas from the air reservoir into the blood collecting container and the other branch being used to transfer gas from the blood collecting container into the air reservoir. The connection branch for transferring gas from the air store into the blood collecting container contains means for compressing air, for example a compressor.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2008Publication date: October 4, 2012Inventors: Götz Günther, Andrea Günther, Michael Herrenbauer, Martin Lauer, Ralf Müller

Publication number: 20120098643Abstract: The invention relates to an RFID reading apparatus arranged stationary at a conveyor device. The RFID information is read in that during a reading procedure a transponder signal is generated for which purpose an RFID information of a frequency in a base band is modulated by back-scatter modulation onto a carrier signal. In accordance with the invention the transmitter unit has two transmitting antennae spaced apart in the conveying direction with the transmitter signal of one transmission antenna representing the in-phase component of the quadrature amplitude modulated transmission signal and the transmitter signal of the other transmission antenna representing the quadrature component of the quadrature amplitude modulated transmission signal so that on transmission of the in-phase and quadrature components these are superimposed in a plane extending transverse to the conveyor device additively to the full quadrature amplitude modulated transmitter signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2011Publication date: April 26, 2012Applicant: SICK AGInventor: Andreas GÜNTHER

Patent number: 8081632Abstract: Computers are caused to provide a hash table wherein each entry is associated with a binary key and indexed by a selected portion of a hash value of the associated key, and points to a data structure location for storing non-selected portions of, or the entire hash value of, the binary key, and action data corresponding to the value of the binary key. Content addressable memory entries store a binary key, or a value unique to it, and an association to a corresponding action. Pointers to the data structure use selected portions of binary key hash values as an index when not selected portions of hash values of other binary keys, and associations are established between CAM entry and associated data structure locations when selected portions of the hash values of the binary keys are the same as selected portions of hash values of one or more other binary keys.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2007Date of Patent: December 20, 2011Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Gordon Taylor Davis, Andreas Guenther Herkersdorf, Clark Debs Jeffries, Mark Anthony Rinaldi
