  • Patent number: 10029134
Abstract: A hammer with an elongate handle having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end and a distal end; a protrusion mounted at the distal end of the handle having a pin and a notch therethrough oriented along a transverse axis relative to the longitudinal axis and a flexible generally geometrically uniform mass affixed to the handle at the distal end thereof. The mass is molded onto the distal end of the handle whereby at least part of the mass extends through and fully occupies a channel in the handle and cooperates with the pin to secure the mass to the handle.

  • Patent number: 9504869
Abstract: A suspension apparatus including first and second rings, each ring having an inner periphery with an inner radius greater than the outer radius of a standard barbell bar; a coupler secured to the outer periphery of each ring; a strap; and first and second fasteners secured to opposite ends of the strap. The strap is inserted through an opening in a barbell weight and secured to the rings. In the best mode, the rings are metallic, the strap is nylon and the coupler is attached to an elastic ring secured to the outer periphery of a respective one of the rings, whereby the weight is free to swing about a point between the rings on the bar over an angle as well as up and down.

  • Publication number: 20150297940
Abstract: A suspension strap comprising an elongate length of flexible material providing a body of a strap; a hand grip fixed on a first end of the strap at a first junction; and a foot grip fixed within the hand grip at the first junction, the foot grip being a second length of the flexible material. The foot loop is disposed entirely within the periphery of the hand grip. A second hand strap and foot grip are provided at a second end of the strap. As per the first foot grip, the second foot grip is disposed within the second hand strap. A door anchor, implemented with a plastic tube, is mounted on the strap.

  • Publication number: 20150196793
Abstract: A suspension apparatus including first and second rings, each ring having an inner periphery with an inner radius greater than the outer radius of a standard barbell bar; a D-ring secured to the outer periphery of each ring; a strap; and first and second fasteners secured to opposite ends of the strap, whereby the strap may be inserted through an opening in a barbell weight and secured to the rings such that when the rings are mounted on the bar, the weight is free to swing about a point between the rings on the bar over an angle. In the best mode, the rings are metallic, the strap is nylon and the D-ring is attached to a plastic ring secured to the outer periphery of a respective one of the rings. In an alternative embodiment, a single ring is used to suspend the weight on each end of the bar.

  • Publication number: 20140309081
Abstract: A sledge hammer with an elongate handle having a longitudinal axis and a flexible generally geometrically uniform removable mass affixed to the handle at a distal end thereof. The mass is secured to the handle with a bolt adapted to extend through the mass and into the distal end of the handle. The bolt is threaded and engages mating threads in the handle. A cone is disposed on the distal end of the handle between the handle and the mass to secure the mass to the handle In the best mode, the mass is a ball which may be perfectly round or have one or more flat surfaces. The ball should have some dampening properties.
