  • Publication number: 20230023305
Abstract: A method for transmitting one or more data elements from a vehicle to a server via a communication channel between the vehicle and the server includes the vehicle determining a first event, and transmitting the first event from the vehicle to the server via the communication channel. The server receives the first event and determines a relevance parameter of the first event. Responsive to the relevance parameter indicating that the first event is relevant to the server, a message is transmitted requesting a first data element associated with the first event from the server to the vehicle via the communication channel. The vehicle receives the message for requesting the first data element and determines the first data element associated with the first event. The first data element is transmitted from the vehicle to the server via the communication channel on the basis of a communication-channel-specific parameter of the communication channel.

  • Patent number: 9881637
Abstract: An apparatus for microwave-assisted magnetic recording includes a magnetic write head operable to write data to a magnetic storage medium. The apparatus includes a spin-torque microwave oscillator coupled to the magnetic write head and operable to provide microwave radiation to the magnetic storage medium. The apparatus includes a driver circuit in communication with the magnetic write head. The driver circuit is operable to dynamically modulate bias current provided to the spin-torque microwave oscillator in sympathy with data being written to the magnetic storage medium by the magnetic write head.

  • Patent number: 7160653
Abstract: A positive-working imageable element comprises inner and outer layers and a radiation absorbing compound such as an IR absorbing dye. The inner layer includes a polymeric material that is removable using an alkaline developer. An ink receptive outer layer is not removable using an alkaline developer before its exposure to imaging radiation. The outer layer includes a polymer binder having pendant epoxy groups that are substantially unreacted during exposure.

  • Patent number: 7144661
Abstract: Positive-working imageable elements comprise a radiation absorbing compound and inner and outer layers on a substrate having a hydrophilic surface. The inner layer comprises a polymer that is removable using an alkaline developer and in which from about 1 to about 50 mol % of its recurring units are derived from one or more of the ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable monomers represented by the following Structure (I): CH2?C(R1)C(?O)NR2(CR3R4)nOH ??(I) wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, or phenyl, and n is 1 to 20. The imageable elements having improved resistance to development and printing chemicals and solvents.

  • Publication number: 20060210917
Abstract: Imageable elements that contain copolymers soluble in alkaline solutions are disclosed and methods for forming imaging using the imageable elements are disclosed. The alkali soluble copolymers comprise about 3 to about 50 mol % of one or more of the monomers of the formula: CH2?CH(R1)—C(O)—X—Y—R2; in which: R1 is H or CH3; R2 is succinimide or phthalimide; X is O or NH; and Y is —(CH2)n—, in which n is an integer from 2 to 12. The imageable elements are useful as lithographic printing plate precursors.
