  • Patent number: 11960909
Abstract: A method and system of providing users with session-specific layouts during access of an application based on contextual data. The system identifies contextual data for each application access session and associates the contextual data with a particular in-app activity. The in-app activity corresponds to a task that is typically performed by the first user when the specific contextual data is detected. The contextual data can include location data, time and date data, and device type data.

  • Publication number: 20240102481
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an improved barrier seal for use on a rotating shaft of a pump to mitigate leakage of fluids along the shaft. The body of the barrier seal may comprise a one-piece combined bushing and seal that can be selectably fastened to the pump bracket. Internal and external channels in the body can operably hold gaskets, internally dynamic seals, and externally static seals, inside the stuffing box of the pump bracket. A lubricant port can be disposed on a flange of the seal portion to provide lubricant to the interior of the barrier seal, which can also be fluidly coupled with the outside of the seal. A pressurized lubricating fluid can also help mitigate leakage of pumped fluid by pressurizing between static gaskets on the outside, and provide lubrication for the rotating shaft on the inside of the seal.

  • Publication number: 20240102471
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type bracket that incorporates a substantially uniform diameter through-bore. This allows the bracket to accept current sealing arrangements used in these types of pumps, while providing the same or better sealing options as current individual designs. The single through-bore can have multiple undercut features for holding a pump shaft bushing, with an increased wall thickness to allow for an appropriate interference fit with the walls of the through-bore, for example, similar to previous designs. Retaining ring grooves can be added to the through-bore, and retaining rings may be used to provide a positive shoulder for the seal or packing rings to seat against inside the bore. This may allow for various sealing options, such as stuffing seals, one-piece barrier seals, cartridge seals, BTR seals, component seals, and more.

  • Patent number: 11941922
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a computer-based system and/or method which automatically, e.g. with minimal, or entirely without, human intervention, identifies, distinguishes, disambiguates or otherwise differentiates among multiple configurable bicycles based on the data reported to the system from the bicycle's data-reporting components, such that the data reported by those components may be associated with a particular bicycle for real-time and/or later review, analysis, etc. More particularly, where one or more data reporting components of a bicycle may change, the disclosed embodiments enable a data gathering system/service to identify, distinguish, disambiguate or otherwise differentiate among multiple bicycles which may use, or have used, one or more of the same components so as to associate the reported data, such as from a particular ride, with the correct bicycle configuration for real-time and/or later review and/or analysis.

  • Patent number: 11936053
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to electrical feedthroughs for thin battery cells. A battery cell enclosure includes a terraced portion having a reduced thickness relative to another portion of the enclosure. The enclosure includes an opening disposed on a horizontal surface of the terraced portion for receiving the electrical feedthrough. Because the feedthrough is disposed on the horizontal surface of the terraced portion, the feedthrough may be over-sized thereby reducing the resistance and impedance of the feedthrough without increasing the height or thickness of the enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20240009863
Abstract: A robotic arm end effector and associated methods for picking up parcels, packages or other objects from a surface or picking space and delivering them to a sort cabinet or another destination combines at least a gripping element with an extendable support element. When in picking position, the gripping element is pointed in a downward orientation and the extendable support element is retracted. Once an object has been secured with the gripping element, the entire head may be turned upside down, a position that allows the support element to extend in such a way that it can accept the weight of the object. The object may then be transferred into one of the waiting cabinet bins, for example by tipping or tossing.

  • Patent number: 11643927
Abstract: Distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) measurements may be acquired at an observation wellbore during a current stage of a stimulation treatment along a treatment wellbore within a reservoir formation. A cumulative strain trace for the current stage of the stimulation treatment may be determined based on the DAS measurements. Based on the cumulative strain trace, whether or not to adjust a spacing of perforation clusters and/or a stage length used at the treatment wellbore for a subsequent stage of the stimulation treatment may be determined. Responsive to determining to adjust the spacing of the perforation dusters or to adjust the stage length, at least one treatment parameter for the subsequent stage may be adjusted. The subsequent stage may be performed based on the adjusted at least one treatment parameter.
