  • Publication number: 20120151046
Abstract: A computer-implemented subject monitoring method is provided. The method includes providing an online-monitoring agent configured for monitoring a personal computing device, receiving identifying information associated with at least one of an account, email address, site, and service from the personal computing device via the online-monitoring agent, and monitoring via a network the at least one of the account, email address, site, and service based on the identifying information received via the online-monitoring agent.

  • Publication number: 20120108259
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for processing mobile device location data is provided. Location data is filtered based on age and accuracy or precision of location coordinates. Location data is partitioned based on the location coordinates into a plurality of clusters including a plurality of location data instances. The plurality of clusters are filtered based on a number of data instances in a particular cluster and a period of time over which data instances of the particular data cluster are generated. A distance is determined from a location coordinate corresponding to the data instances of one or more of the plurality of clusters to a particular predetermined location, and the one or more of the plurality of clusters are correlated with the particular predetermined location in response to the distance being less than a predetermined distance. The invention further provides a location data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20060117061
Abstract: The invention is directed to techniques for de-serializing data from a software system, such as an enterprise software system, upon request. For example, techniques are described for converting a data description language, such as the extensible markup language (XML), representation of data from an enterprise software system to an object when requested by a software application. A computing device connected to the enterprise software system loads multidimensional data via an XML data stream. The XML data is de-serialized to create objects as the objects are requested by software applications executing on the computing device. The remaining XML data may be stored on the computing device until the corresponding objects are requested by the software applications.

  • Publication number: 20020174031
Abstract: A system and method are described for supporting non-cash transactions in multiple currencies. The system includes software which determines if a transaction is in a locally processed currency or a non-locally processed currency and proceeds according to such determination. The system also includes a multi-currency payment platform which uses software to interface a point-of-sale terminal with a voucher receiving module and a database system so as to enable the point-of-sale terminal to download current exchange rates for particular currencies. When a cardholder wishes to know the value of the transaction in a particular currency, the point-of-sale terminal provides the cardholder with the exact amount that will be charged in that currency at the time of receipt of the cardholder's statement for the card.
