  • Patent number: 9062934
Abstract: An adjustment turret for an optical sight is provided and may include a housing and an adjustment member rotatably supported by the housing and operable to adjust a characteristic of the optical sight when moved relative to the housing. The adjustment turret may additionally include a cap extending from the housing and movable between an engaged state fixing the cap for rotation with the adjustment member and a disengaged state permitting relative rotation between the cap and the adjustment member. The cap may be moveable from the disengaged state to the engaged state in a direction away from the housing.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5842450
Abstract: A retaining clip includes a cantilever arm which engages an exterior tab affixed to the outer surface of the retaining clip. The inner surface of the cantilever arm and the outer surface of the engaging tab both include a number of serrated catches. The catches are situated such that the inner surface catches of the cantilever arm are opposing the outer surface catches of the engaging tab. When the retaining clip is engaged, the serrated catches form a secure mesh. The retaining clip also includes a latch which further secures the engaged clip while also providing a means of unfastening the clip without specialized tools.

  • Patent number: 5713323
Abstract: An integrated air/fuel induction system for a multicylinder internal combustion engine includes an intake manifold assembly having an airbox for providing a source of intake air for consumption by the engine. The intake manifold assembly also includes an air plenum communicating with the airbox. A plurality of intake runners is integrally formed, at least partially, within the airbox, for directing intake air flowing from the plenum into each cylinder of the engine. The airbox thereby encapsulates and utilizes the volume of space surrounding the intake runners. The integrated air/fuel induction system also includes a fuel rail removably latched to the manifold assembly. A biasing member is provided to compensate for any slack between the fuel rail and the manifold assembly. In addition, rotational and axial locators are provided so as to position the fuel rail relative to the engine.
