  • Publication number: 20220227559
Abstract: A computer system for creating custom-made corrugated edge protectors receives one or more product protection variables. The system also determines one or more corrugated edge protector attributes based upon the one or more product protection variables. Additionally, the system generates a construction command that is configured to cause a packaging production machine to create a custom-made corrugated edge protector. The system also sends the construction command to the packaging production machine. The construction command causes the packaging production machine to create the custom-made corrugated edge protector.

  • Patent number: 7013110
Abstract: A radio receiving apparatus is used at a sporting event to provide a spectator with additional information and contact with the participants in the event. In an automobile racing event, each of the automobiles can be equipped with a two-way radio for communication between the driver and the crew as well as with a telemetry transmitter for sending data concerning the operation of the automobile. The telemetry data is combined with other information relating to the car's involvement in the race and this data is combined to produce parameter data. A hand-held receiver receives both the audio conversation and the parameter data for one of the selected cars and produces audible sounds and concurrently produces a display of a graphic image on a screen with information derived from the parameter data. Thus, the user of the receiving apparatus can both hear a selected driver and at the same time see a display of performance information about the car and driver in the race.

  • Patent number: 6637161
Abstract: A floor system for providing a raised floor above a sub-floor in a work environment is disclosed. The floor system includes a plurality of pedestals, a plurality of panels having side cutouts arranged so that the side cutouts are in alignment when the panels are installed on the pedestals to form an access opening from the combination of the side cutouts, an access cover configured to fit over the access opening, and a track configured to rest upon the pedestals and to provide a passage for utility carriers. A floor system is also disclosed for providing a raised floor above a sub-floor to support a load in a work environment. The floor system includes a plurality of pedestals, a frame including a combination of frame members to provide a substantially open frame work supported on the pedestals so that the load is distributed across the frame, and a plurality of panels configured to be installed on the frame and to be quickly and easily removable.
