  • Patent number: 5095418
Abstract: A multiplex control system has a plurality of control apparatuses, test signal generators provided, respectively, for the control apparatuses for the purpose of internal diagnosis thereof, signal selectors each for selecting a signal to operate a device under control from the signals produced by the control apparatuses, and diagnosis units each for deciding presence or absence of abnormality in the associated signal selector with the aid of the signals inputted to the signal selector and the output signal therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4843537
Abstract: A safety control safeguard system includes sensors disposed in a quadruple array. First, second, third and fourth signal processing channels provided in parallel each include signal processing means for receiving output signals from the associated sensors for producing a trip signal. First and second actuating means operable independent of each other are provided for actuating an apparatus to be controlled. A first switch means operatively connected to the first, second, third and fourth processing channels for activating the first actuating means in response to reception of the trip signal produced by the signal processing channels and second switch means operatively connected to the first, second, third and fourth processing channels for activating the second actuating means in response to reception of the trip signal produced by the signal processing channels.

  • Patent number: 4682845
Abstract: In an apparatus for transmitting an optical image using an image guide which is equipped with dispersive devices, the invention has an advantage such that dispersive devices which are arranged in an objective lens system and an ocular lens system are attached by being rotated by only a constant angle in the same direction around their respective optical axes as rotational centers with respect to each of an edge surface and rear edge surface of the image guide.

  • Patent number: 4589014
Abstract: A color industrial television camera device for use in a gamma ray environment including a lens system made of radiation resisting glass. The lens system has a spectral transmittance characteristic such that the wavelength for which the lens system has a transmittance equal to one-half of its maximum transmittance in a wavelength range from 0.4 to 0.7 .mu.m is shorter than about 0.48 .mu.m on the shorter wavelength side of the maximum transmittance wavelength in the above wavelength range, thereby enabling the achieving white balance for a color display with the aid of an electric circuit.

  • Patent number: 4583224
Abstract: A redundant control system in which three output signals from three equivalent signal processors are compared with each other to judge whether each of the output signals is normal or abnormal, an abnormal output signal thus determined is replaced by a set signal having a predetermined level, and then a majority operation is performed for normal output signals and the set signal to obtain a control signal. The control signal is formed of the logical product or logical sum of two normal output signals according as the predetermined level of the set signal is "1" or "0". In the case where a circuit for generating the above-mentioned control signal are formed in triplicate and a majority operation is performed for three control signals, a fault occurring at other circuit portions than a majority logic circuit at the final stage is permissible.

  • Patent number: 4365309
Abstract: A digital differential analyzer (DDA) is connected through a direct memory access bus (DMA bus) to a host processor so as to receive an operation defining parameter and data, thereby to process a differential analysis as a digital operation. The DDA has mainly an arithmetic processor for DDA operation, and a control processor for performing the control concerning DMA to the host processor and the start and end control of the DDA operation which is performed by the arithmetic processor. This DDA decreases the amount of program to be processed by the host processor.
